I love TV on DVD, loads of shows together and no ads. Unlike other video stores that charge four bucks (or so) per disc, with older shows, On 15th charge 4 bucks (or so) for a _season_ What a bargain.
Oh, and you can rent everything for a week.
And the staff are nice too.

This is a small, cozy neighborhood video place with a much nicer feel than one of the big chain outlets. They have an exceptional selection, given their size, with cult oddities and director collections and indie films and tv series. The folks who work there are young and laid back, and it all has a very personal atmosphere. Parking can be a nuisance, but you can usually find something if you're patient.

On 15th Video is a great independent rental store housed in a charming old firehouse. Their movies are well organized, and they have a good balance of DVDs and VHS. The staff is very knowledgeable about what they have and where it is. The store also sells new DVDs and videos as well as a few kinds of candy. Prices are comparable to other rentals, though they do charge steep late fees.

about a third of this place is foreign films, which suits me perfectly. they've also got good collections of local and foreign TV back episodes, blacksploitation cinema, indie films etc. i always find something i want to watch, and for some one who watches as little tv and movies as i do, that's amazing. although if you're looking for mainstream presumably you've already found your local blockbuster video.

I have been going to this place for years. They have a wide range of movies and tend to have many really hard to find titles. I also enjoy their directors section, cult classics and BBC series.
They also have staff picks, a good range of indie/foreign titles and knowledgeable staff that are very friendly and honest. It's much smaller than Scarecrow, so you can't expect that kind of diversity, but if you are in the capitol hill area, its definitely the best choice.
