I just wanted to say that the #41 is awesome. Recently, i switched jobs and have been commuting downtown for the first time ever. Since i have to walk the dogs every morning...which of course puts me behind in getting to the busstop (yes, blaming the dogs:) , I'm always just barely to the transit centre on time. The bus driver with the beard & accent (sorry didn't catch a name) that arrives not too long before 8am is great! I've driven at my previous job so much that, even when not driving i can't help but feel a little like a back seat driver and am always watching how the drivers make their way thru heavy I-5 traffic. A big pat on the back to this awesome driver (who though jerky...(ie. brakes some vs. mean) every once in a while due to heavy traffic) always knows how to cut into the free-est lane, merge at the most efficient part of the downtown exiting lanes, and drives fast!! Thank goodness! This guy and the fact that the bus comes so often has been a life (or, at least job!) saver! ; )

After some searching, I have finally found a local, independent travel agency that is worth the service fees. I had tried using a travel agency in Fremont but had terrible service. Then I called Magnolia Travel & Cruise to plan my New Zealand vacation. I got Rachelle and she way wonderful. Having just been there she was full of ideas and suggestions. Their prices are fare and service outstanding.

Really expensive (with my budget) but worth every penny!
Great for families or honeymooners!
Pros: free parking, great free breakfast

Riding a ferry is one of my favorite "tourist" things to do in Seattle. This ferry is one of the best. The length of the trip is perfect. The views are great. Walk on, enjoy the trip. Poke around the island town, get back on and be back in the city - a great diversion!

I exclusively take orange cab from my home to SEATAC. I make this trip on average 3 times a month and have been doing so for 6 years (over that time leaving from Queen Anne, Ballard and now West Seattle). They have been late only once and normally turn up 5 mins early, but are happy to sit outside and wait on me before starting the meter. They're all nice folks and are great people to talk to. Never had a dirty car, never had a driver under the influence of anything and they have always been polite.

I used Happy Haulers this spring to remove all sorts of junk before I sold my house and they were friendly, and very helpful. Their pricing is really reasonable and their "unofficial phone quote" was a close estimate. They had to come back with a truck with a hydraulic lift gate to remove a section of sewer that had been here before me and the price will still under $90.00. I highly recommend them for their pricing, service, recycling and debris removal!

Greenway Packers recently delivered some items from Pottery Barn and I couldn't believe what a great experience it was - they were on-time, professional, organized and friendly (unlike Excel)! When assembling the pieces they took extra care to make sure they didn't damage the new hardwood floors and made sure everything was in it's place before leaving.
I would recommend Greenway without hesitation - it could not have been a better experience (I just wish I would have known about them before I moved!).

Their pricing was in line with the most competitive, but my real concern was integrity (no unexpected charges or surprises). They delivered on this count. Erin was great to work with...the most conservative of the group estimating at the high end (turned out to be accurate) rather than trying to win business by telling me only what I wanted to hear. This prevented mix ups later. They were on time, on budget, and a pleasure to work with...no disconnect between Erin's sales call and the movers who did the work. Erin and her move coordinator also took care of little details that we didn't have time for, something the next best candidate was unwilling to do. Moves are stressful, and often go wrong.
