We had drinks here, those turned into dinner and I have to say I was impressed with the new menu/chef at the Hunt Club. We had kind of a preconceived notion that the place was snooty, but that couldn't have been farther from the truth. Tasty app's and a casual atmosphere were great.
Pros: Excellent Food, historic setting
Cons: none

Location, breakfast, staff, parking and view were GREAT.
Stayed 3 days and only used transportation once and that was to bring the el back from the Space Needle at night. Right above Pikes Market, walked to the aquarium, Post Alley below.
Pros: LOCATION, LOCATION , LOCATION
Cons: NO ELEVATOR BUT WORTH THE CLIMB

we stayed at the hotel over the last weekend with two small children. The room was comfortable and had a great layout. Their ala cart program was a lifesaver for keeping the kids busy when we were in the room. breakfast was good for complimentary breakfast (eggs & sausage included). One of the better hotels I've stayed at in the Seattle area for the price.
Pros: room layout, ala cart, comfort, friendly staff, breakfast

We took the locks cruise during sunset. Seeing the city as well as the mountains at twilight made it worth every penny (it is fairly expensive). This was a birthday gift so I guess its easy for me to say but I wouldn't regret paying for it. The trip was so romantic and beautiful.
The tour guides were pretty informative and the crew was friendly. I think its great for both tourists and locals. You learn a little bit of trivia and if you are new to the area a lot about the different neighborhoods of Seattle. It gives you a good sense of the city. But besides all that, its just fun to go out on a boat trip once in a while and see the salmon jump! :)

And really. I think that's a good thing. This is not a generic chain. It's a unique, budget hotel. The decor is interesting, but might seem a bit flimsy. I loved this place, it was centrally located (if you have issues with homeless people, you may want to avoid Belltown, where the hotel is located), reasonably priced and they serve continental breakfast until noon! Honestly, we didn't spend that much time hanging out in our hotel room, and it wouldn't have been all that comfortable if we had due to it's small size. It was a very comfortable place to sleep and regroup. We had a deluxe room with our own bathroom, it was austere, but wholly accomadating. I did notice that the shared bathrooms looked perfectly acceptable, and we could have saved even more money if we had stayed in one of those rooms. Parking was something of a pain, there is a pay lot two blocks down the street, you can purchase 24 hour passes for $17. It is a bit inconvenient to have to drag your luggage up First Avenue at 9:00 on a Friday night... The wifi in the rooms was really convenient though...
The staff is somewhat hipsterish, but they were very sweet and accomadating to us. The Ace is a great deal, but if you're expecting the Embassy Suites, you might want to stay somewhere else.
Pros: Continental Breakfast til noon, cool decor, low price
Cons: Parking, The Vague Sketchiness of Belltown

My wife and I spent the night here for our anniversiary. We would reccommend this hotel to anyone at any time. When we arrived at the hotel and told the valet our name, he congratulated us on our anniversiary. A small touch, but a very nice way to be welcomed to the hotel. Every member of the staff was equally as genuine in their desire to make our stay memorable. Live classical guitar and flights of wine in the Studio lounge made for relaxing and fun after dinner entertainment. The room was nicely furnished with a comfortable sitting area (hard to find in a hotel) and an incredible bathroom. The bed was a little too soft for our taste, but other than that, no complaints at all. We will be back and we'll be reccommending to our friends as well.

They have the most awesome marble bathroom which includes a soaking tub and seperate glass encased shower. It's huge and the bed is the most comfortable thing i've ever slept on. Best place to stay in Seattle! It's close to everything but you still feel worlds away. It's so high tech, and has everything you'll need. Oh, and breakfast at Ruth's Chris is always welcome. =O)
Pros: Very romantic! The beds are so comfortable! Room service is great!
Cons: Parking is extra.

Two hard to please, 40+, hard working women who hardly get together decided to have a luscious spa weekend in downtown Seattle (we're native to Seattle but hardly have time to spend relaxing and enjoying downtown Seattle). We were delighted at the Sheraton's offerings - with their scrumptious beds piled high with and variety of lavish pillows. The hotel is two blocks from our chosen spa (GJ), and shopping available every direction, with quiet and luxury rooms to hide out in and watch a really good flat screen t.v. We found that it gets a little crowded when a convention is going on next door at the convention center - but just in the lobby and on the elevators. Sunday paper is delivered to your door. Outstanding gourmet supermarket tucked away 1423 Third Avenue, as well as Pike Place Market. Thank you Sheraton for a great place for two girls to reconnect and relax and feel like REAL women again. This hotel gets high rating for being so clean, our room on the 20th floor had a decent view, good service, near everything - total thumb's up even when you factor in a rather late room service.
Pros: Clean, Great Location, Luxury
Cons: Right next to Convention Center
