A terrific selection of learning toys, the ones you'd never find in a Toys R Us. Those are mostly junk with a few redeeming qualities. Top Ten Toys only stocks quality toys with maybe 1% junk. As an adult, I loved going to this store when my first child was a baby. We could have spent all day here (the adults) looking at these toys, and blowing our wad. Quality demands a higher price, because it will last longer (probably till your grandkids), so this place is worth it.

We're big fans of this store and their selection is very good when you're looking for more classic toys and non-"Toys R Us" type of toys. I can't wait until our boys are older and we can start buying the science kits. Their strength is educational toys.
One thing that's frustraiting, though, is that they have some sort of politically correct policy about stocking guns and other "violent" toys, including military stuff, which are part of any boys essential toy arsenal.

It's a bit of a tossup between this place and TreeTop Toys in Lake Forest Park, but Top Ten wins for having more and better stickers and art supplies. They have all the good stuff, no horrible Bratz dolls or other products of the devil, and the staff is a bunch of big kids--they actually seem to have played with everything. Honestly, I have just as much fun going in there without my kid.

Great place to buy toys in Seattle. They have a solid selection, good service and generally you can't go wrong.

I've been going to Top Ten Toys since I was young, and it is one of my favorite toy stores. They have an excellent supply of classic toys (wood and metal, anyone?) as well as the latest in science kits, craft kits, and Legos. Stuffed animals, dolls, musical instruments, plastic animal figures, baby toys, hobby supplies - you'll find pretty much all of it here, and you can feel good knowing that you're supporting quality toys and a small business.

Wow, was I overwhelmed by this place and in disbelief that it took me twelve years of my children's lives to find this place. The selection is tremendous - they have everything except any toy that resembles a weapon (i.e. NO nerf guns!).
This store also has an outstanding selection of books.

this store is just fabulous. first, it's large, easy to get to (off of greenwood on 85th) and has a huge parking lot.
second, the prices are fair. not super-cheap but fair.
finally, the store itself is amazing! when you first walk in, there's a newborn and two's/three's section on your right. from there everything is categorized by activity/toy type - music, art, trucks & cars, books, costumes, sports, etc. they have an incredible selection and ttt carries the cool toys that you can't ever find anywhere else. if you are a fan of the 'baby einstein' videos, you'll really appreciate top ten toys since they seem to carry all of the toys that are shown on the videos.

Top Ten Toys gets my vote for best toy store in Seattle. It is housed in a large space with easy parking. The store is always well-organized and stocked with fun, educational toys. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My son especially loves playing the the Thomas trains. I also appreciated that the restroom has both an adult toilet and a kid-sized toilet. This is a place that is all about the kids! While their prices may be higher than the chain stores, I don't mind paying a small premium to support such a wonderful, local, independent store!

This is a toy store committed to quality toys for kids. They don't carry barbies or toy guns or any of those type of things.
This is a great place to shop for the little or big kid in your life!
