I'm so glad that this store is here in Bell Square. They have the hard to find items that Babies R Us and the other major retailers don't or won't carry. This is a higher end store, but for some reason, I don't feel like I get ripped off there. I always find a good deal here. They have great sales, and a great selection for such a small space. I like their selection of safety items, *quality* car seats and strollers that you get your money's worth on, etc. Exactly what you need and nothing else....I like the practicality of it all. You get what you pay for!

This is the place for high-end kid gear. The staff is very knowledgeable, particularly about car seats. They will explain why a $250 car seat is a good investment and help you pick the right one for your kid. They have the high-end strollers and can order anything they don't have. You might not be everything here, but it is great for a few high-end items.

If I can't find an item at a chain, I tend to look at The Right Start -- they almost always have what I am looking for! I like the location behind the University Village, but there is also one in Bellevue. I particularly like their selection of stylish diaper bags. They have a line that looks like Petunia Picklebottom, but at less than half the price! Their feeding section is also great, with bowls that suction to the high-chair or table, and a wide variety of cute bibs and utensils. It's really a fun store to browse -- I always find something I'd like!

The Right Start offers many popular baby products that you may need, and it is much closer than Babies R Us out in Lynwood. You can purchase items from them such as car seats, strollers, high chairs, car seat carriers, sippy cups, high chair/shopping cart covers and more. I was happy to find it because I had gone to the Babies R Us in Lynwood twice and it took forever to get there and back. This location is right near U Village so you can shop over there, and then stop in the Right Start for your baby/toddler product needs. They have parking right next to the store which makes it very easy to load in baby and anything you might by. I can almost promise you won't leave empty handed because they have such a great selection of products. It is a small store so they do not have as much inventory as a Babies/Toys R Us. If there is something in particular you are looking for, I would suggest calling in advance to make sure they have what you want before going. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive - much better service than a large chain store. The Right Start also has another location at the Bellevue Square Mall.
