Massage therapy in Ballard right on Market Street. Very convenient if you are in the area, but you'll have to park on the street and feed the meter or walk a couple blocks. I think the office is a co-op and they have several different therapists with different schedules. The rooms are fairly relaxing but a tad more utilitarian than "spa".

Ballard Therapeutic Massage is the place to go for excellent muscle work. Ellen Parker is a licensed massage therapist with a degree in kinesiology and is very knowledgeable of how muscles, bone and tissues work together. She does deep tissue work for damaged or tight areas, or full body work. It's a relaxed environment, very down to earth, professional without the overwhelming upsell of a spa experience. Highly recommended.
