I love the food at Jamjuree on 15th Ave on Capitol Hill.
The jasmine tea is so fresh and all the food tastes fresh--more so than at the other Thai restaurants I frequent. I like the arrangement of the tables and rooms so it doesn't get too noisy to have a conversation like in many other places.
I especially liked when this past year or so they started offering brown rice and it was that red kind that is so tasty-kind of nutty.
I have taken practically all my out of town guests there repeatedly!

Food was too sweet and not spicy enough. I expected authentic Thai like I used to eat in Thailand, but they don't serve that kind of food. Also the woman there asked my name again and again for a seat, and then they called us with very wrong name though I spelled out for her. Also she was so frastrated with us because we didn't answer to the wrong name. But still most of staff there were very nice. But I didn't like their Thai food.

Jamjuree offers well-presented Thai food that is flavorful and fresh without being too salty. Compared with other local Thai, the dishes here have a nice meat-to-vegetables ratio. My favorites at Jamjuree are just about everything; I've yet to try something I didn't like. I've even been surprised by the fried rice, which is a dish I usually don't order elsewhere and is hard for me to really like after having my mom's. If I could change the menu, though, I'd add fresh rolls; the only spring rolls they offer are the fried kind.
Unlike some of Seattle's many Thai restaurants, Jamjuree has a nice ambience. Nothing over-the-top, just enough sophistication to ensure its above-average position. There is a separate room that is frequently used to house larger parties, and there is a slightly elevated gazebo-like area that for whatever reason makes me feel special when I get to sit there. Almost all of the times I've been here, the restaurant has been pretty quiet noise-wise--even when it's fairly full. This may be a byproduct of the restaurant's subtlety; despite being on 15th the restaurant's subdued decor and signage mean some have a hard time remembering where it is (next to the Hopvine). Street parking is your only option on this busy thoroughfare, so you may end up parked on one of the residential side streets.
I recently had a party at Jamjuree, and the staff was so helpful. They remembered my specific requests (asking only that I call to confirm the day before), kept my cakes for me (and managed to switch things around when I forgot to mention these were ice cream cakes), lit the candles and provided plates and utensils--all without an extra service fee. The waitstaff were friendly and worked hard to meet the needs of 20+ people and a baby. Needless to say, I left more enamored with Jamjuree than ever.

Jamjuree Thai is the best that I've tasted in Seattle. The ingredients are all very fresh and every dish that I have tasted has been great -- even the waitress admitted that she loves the food there. My favorite dishes are Tom Kha Soup (good flavor and spice but it has cabbage), Basil Chicken (good flavor-spice balance and tender chicken), Oyster Beef (lots of veggies and tender beef), and Thai Red Curry (great flavor, good proportions of veggies to meat and hurray! no eggplant). The portion size is just right, the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is good. The layout is a bit odd but the food is so good you won't notice.

We just got Jamjuree take out last night (pas Thai, Pad See Ew, Basil Beef and Panang curry). I've been going for about 5 years and I don't think it gets much better than Jamjuree.

I've been going to Jamjuree since I first moved here nearly 10 years ago. They have hands down the best Phad Thai I've had in Seattle, although that's not to diminish any of their other dishes - every single one I've tried has been fantastic. Their lunch specials are great - and their service staff is really welcoming and efficient. Finally, I appreciate that they offer brown rice and they have always been glad to make changes to accomodate my dietary needs.

I've been to Jamjuree twice now, and it's certainly my favorite thai food in capitol hill. the menu isn't huge, but the food is delicious. they have all the classics as well as some other delicious dishes, like lamb. They serve both white and brown rice, as well as sweet sticky rice for dessert. The service is always quick, and the decor is beautiful. My only complaint is that their 4 star spice isn't very hot.

Not only are the staff so nice, and the interior decor so warm, and the location so lively, but the phad thai there is like a work of art. It comes out with a thin layer of egg over the appetizing noodles and little curly carrot slivers garnished on top. I don't know what all the ingrediants are but it is sooo good.
Pros: phad thai, service
