Like, insanely fresh. They have 4 stars - 2 is about what 3 is at most 1 - 5 star Thai places. Prompt service and good prices as well. Just focus on good parking karma and you will be fine.

This dining experience was above average. I started with an order of spring rolls. Great presentation ? the rolls were cut diagonally and stood up on their end in a row. I also ordered the ?lime soda?. The waitress described it as being kind of like lemonade, only with lime and soda water. It was EXCELLENT. However, at $2.95 a glass I doubt I?ll order it every time. I then had the main course, pad thai with beef ? 2 stars. I?ve only seen the presentation they used once before ? they fry an egg onto the pad thai and the dish is served almost hidden by the egg. Very interesting. The pad thai itself was very saucy and flavorful. Their star system seems pretty accurate ? no big surprises. Ordering pad thai with beef is risky - I will probably order the dish with chicken if I come here again. At $18.50 before tip, this was not a cheap thai dinner but it was worth the money. I recommend this place as a break from your usual haunts. Very good atmosphere, friendly staff, welcoming environment.
Pros: Great food, great presentation, great atmosphere, friendly staff
Cons: location is inconvenient, kind of pricy

Ate here the other night for the first time. Very good Thai food, good extensive menu, great service, good atmosphere. Nothing too out of the ordinary, just a good Thai food experience.

Jamjuree has a wonderful peanut sauce, which I was "addicted to" for several years. My tastes have changed somewhat and I moved and so I haven't been in about a year.
I went to Jamjuree about one-four times a month for two years. have found the service consistently pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere warm, comfortable and leisurely with a touch of elegance. The food was wonderful. The noodle dishes had a sort of "soft noodle" style (not as crisp or saucy as some places) which it's sort of it's own taste.
This was on-again off-again one of my local haunts. The food was very consistent, with only one mishap. One night my Phad Thai tasted TOTALLY different than usual, either they had a substitute chef or were experimenting with recipe. It tasted like something was missing and it made my mouth feel chalky. When I told the waiter he was very pleasant and my food was remade. It was much much better but still not level of taste as usual. On the other 30+ occasions I've been there the food has been delicious.
The food is somewhat health conscious with good vegetarian options which don't feel like something is missing. The dishes I've enjoyed have tasted very fresh and the vegetables are perfectly cooked.
Price is $1 or $2 above many Thai places, but still very reasonable (approx $8-$11). If you go with a small group, the atmosphere is worth it. They also have a full bar.

Jamjuree is in my neighborhood and a couple of my friends swear by this place. However, I find the food pretty weak. The Pad Thai, for instance, was sweet (even after 4 star spiciness was requested). It's very spacious, so normally you do not have to wait too long for a table.
PROS: Bargain Prices, No Reservations Necessary
CONS: Not so tasty

It's amazing. Lunch specials every day of the week (and weekends, which I love). $8 for pad thai and your choice of curry's. I'm a red curry fan and their sauce is f*cking AMAZING. I mean, it's really really really good. It's a lot of food so you take some home with you. But seriously, do yourself a favor and go now!
Pros: the best thai food on capitol hill, maybe even seattle.
Cons: it's on 15th- bad parking kinda hard to get to by foot or bus.

This is a cute and trendy place with not the typical Thai decorations of the King hanging on the wall. Or maybe I was blind to it the night we went. The prices are reasonable. We ordered the Phad Thai (really sweet that night), Jamjuree Fried Rice (best dish we ordered but it was just okay), Masaman curry (really sweet). Overall, it was a cute place but the flavor was very overpowering. It's our friends favorite Thai place so we'll probably revisit and give it another chance. Parking can be a bit challenging.
Pros: average thai food
Cons: parking was difficult

My boyfriend and I checked out Jamjuree a while ago and I've been meaning to go back for some time. He had a lunch special of pad thai and yellow curry; I had the green curry. The green curry was particularly good. I've been craving that green curry for weeks. Go eat it now.
Pros: Green curry, Atmosphere

In addition to vibrant food, Jamjuree has warm, hospitable servers and a pleasing interior which encourages lingering conversation. The level of light always seems just right: you can see your menu, but the candlelit tables make you want to settle in and stay awhile. My favorite dishes include the Larb Gai (spicy green salad) with squid, because I've had inedible versions of this at other Thai restaurants and Jamjuree's is addictively delicious. And they have a bathing Rama (peanut sauce and spinach on noodles) which is also deeply satisfying. I've never had a dish here that seems routinely slapped together, and yet their service is prompt and their prices very good. They are also very gracious about preparing to-go orders, and they have a steady stream of neighborhood folk who come in and order dinner to bring home.
