What can I say?!?! This place is the best! I've been to kaiten places throughout the world and believe me, this place is the REAL DEAL! The sushi is top quality, the atmosphere reminds of Tokyo and my kids and WALLET love it. We go twice a month and the staff knows us by name. I've never had a bad experience. Sometimes we have to wait to get in but it always seems to be well worth it. I wish I had thought of this idea! PS - try the Cream Puffs! They are better than anything you'll find in Seattle. Trust me. If you are in Univeristy Village ask Mr. Taka to make you something.

I am picky like a 2 year old. When my family suggested Blue C Sushi in Fremont for dinner, I was disappointed. We ended up going for happy hour. There was no wait to get in, the decor is modern and cool with flat screen TVs showing anime films. We ordered HH beers with Amstels at just $2 each. I ordered a teriyaki chicken breast for $3. We also ordered cucumber, avocado and salmon rolls, edamame, veggie tempura and sake. All the food was $1-3. I couldn't believe it, I like sushi!! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented and delicious! The staff is very helpful and efficient. There is parking provided free of charge below, entrance is by the PCC. Happy Hour is 4-6pm every day. There is no HH at the University Village location.

I ate at Blue C for the first time this weekend, and just went back again tonight! I don't like sushi, but there were quite a few options for me. The salad, edamame, dumplings, sesame salad and tempura were excellent. The staff was excellent and very attentive. Drinks are great, and their wine list, although limited, is very nice. I really enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc on their list.
My sushi-lover friends adore this place, and it's surprisingly reasonable!

The Blue C Sushi restaurant is located in the heart of the universe, also known as Fremont. It has a loft bar and the restrooms are located downstairs below the restaurant. If you go to the Blue C, you must visit the bathrooms! I don't know about the mens, but the womens is covered with pictures of people in Japan dressed in some of the days fashions there. The fashion wall is a must see. Also the hand dryer is rather unusual, at least for Seattle. OK, now for the food. The sushi and other food is placed on little color coded plates and then set on a track that passes by the tables. You simply take what you want from the track. The food is really good. My favorites are avocado roll, the spinach with brown sauce and the tofu with chili sauce, edame and daikon sprouts. Each color plate is a different price ranging form $1.50 to $4.50. Most people probably spend about $10.00 to eat there, but you could get away with as little as $1.50, if you're not that hungry, or you could spend up to $20.00 or $30.00 depending on your selections. When you're all done, or if you need service, there is a blue button to push to summon the server. When finished the server will tally up the number of plates you have in each color and your drinks and present you with the bill.

They have sushi for both beginners and advanced sushi eaters! You must try or at least ask about their Blue C Cosmo! If you are at u-village have Asher make it for you -it is a fabulous drink!

Kaiten sushi is a wonderful invention! Blue C has a very trendy atmosphere, with anime playing to music on the wall. The call buttons for the waiters are nice so that you don't end up sitting around waiting for a drink refill or for your bill. The sushi isn't anything incredible, but it's good and it's right there on the conveyor belt, so you can sit down and dig in without having to wait. :) It's a good place to bring your sushi-fearing friends, since you can see the food before deciding whether or not to try it.

I think this place rocks. I've eaten at so many conveyor belt sushi joints where the operators clearly don't give a crap, but these guys are doing it right.
I don't really mind that they stay...
