He was at my house that afternoon with a very reasonable quote on my furnace and was there with his crew the next morning. 5 hours later I had a new furnace and the house was toasty. Thank you Doug!!

My entire experience with Doug and Northend Home Heating was wonderful. I called for a quote on a new gas furnace and some ductwork on Monday, the owner Doug came out on Tuesday morning to give me a quote. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question I had. His quote was reasonable and competitive. I called him later Tuesday to accept his quote and he told me he had time later in the week to install everything. By Thursday afternoon of the same week I had my new furnace installed. He was also helpful in providing information on the all the rebates and tax credits I could receive. I strongly recommend Northend Home Heating to anyone looking for a new furnace and/or ductwork.

I'm not sure if they do heat pumps, but Doug Hamilton and his brother did a great job installing a new gas, forced-air furnace and some ducting in my Ballard house, as well as a gas water heater. I also used them to install some iron gas line in that house and another. If you are getting a new furnace, I would pass on the (Honeywell) electrostatic air filter - it adds a few hundred bucks and doesn't really work that well, at least mine doesn't. Save some money and buy a stack of regular filters for your furnace and change them out every 2-6 months.
