Is there anything better than catching a Mariner's game at Safeco field on a warm summer evening? Not much. I was given tickets from a client and my husband and I went to the game last night. We were lucky enough to be sitting 15 rows back in the first section, along the third base line. Several foul balls came our way, though we didn't catch any. The view from these seats was incredible, and I think it's definitely worth the extra dollars. You can actually see the expressions on the player's faces from here!
The park itself still retains that "new" feeling, and it manages to feel cozy, even though it's enormous. There are lots of services here - from the Hit It Here Cafe (good for a pre-game meal) to tons of different vendors. If you're a garlic fan, don't miss the famous garlic fries!

The most beautiful ball park I've been to. As a matter of fact I've been to only two, the kingdom and this one. It was recently build and not too old. They have a retractable roof and is great because it's next to the water and you have a great view of elliot bay. NOt much of a hassel to find parking because the garage is right next door. The garage is also conected to I-90 so all of eastside people have easy access to the freeway. The mariners are a good team and they can only get better. Have fun!

I had a blast at the baseball game I went to at Safeco Field. The stadium is amazing and if you have not been, you should go. They have shops, restaurants, lounging areas, outside and indoor seating, and much more. The bathrooms are very clean, the staff were friendly and the game was really enjoyable. We were at the very top of the stadium, seats in the last row, and it did not even feel like it. You feel like you're closer than a the kingdome. A great evening out!
