There aren't many parks around where you can get a seat for $10. The bleacher seats at Safeco aren't the best seats in the park but they're cheap and you get a beautiful unobstructed view of the game from center field! It's great if you ahve a group because the seating arrangements tend to be pretty flexible. Also, the seats that are a price level or two higher are still a great deal. Beer is expensive, as would be expensive, but there are tons of food choices, from Ivar's salmon dogs, to garlic fries, to pizza, to who knows what else. The park is well laid out so there are tons of clean bathrooms, and the food and drink vendors are evenly spaced throughout. Overall it's a wonderful experience to see a game at this field. Highly recommended.

Safeco Field is an amazing ballpark. The special sliding roof closes during the rainy days and opens up when the weather is good. And when it's open, you can also enjoy the view of Seattle's skyline and part of the Pudget Sound. There are lots many parking lots around the ballpark. Make sure to check out the Mariners store. You have to admit Mariners have the best looking logo in the entire league. It will be just perfect if Mariners can play a litter better these days.

So another winning season may be years away, but you'll cheat yourself silly if you never see a baseball game at Safeco. Out of all the new parks in the MLB, Safeco is easily one of the best, what with the layout, the food options, and (if you're no so lucky), a retractable roof in action. Yeah sure, we voted public financing for it down twice, but now that its here, you might as well go and enjoy it. Bagside seats along the third base line are the best.

OK..so maybe I'm a bit bias. I love the Seattle Mariners even when they sucked (remember the before the mid-90's). OK...they suck now, but atleast the stadium is awesome. The atmosphere is friendly, the people are nice, the food selection is great (but pricey), and the stadium itself is beaufiful. The only other stadium that I have been too that comes close is the SF Giant's stadium which reminded me of Safeco. You've gotta love it!

If you've yet to visit SafeCo field, then you've yet to experience a pretty darn nice ballpark! I'd say one of the better ones around right now.. Its pretty new still, and very clean and there really isn't a bad seat in the house! the way its designed you sit higher up but not as far back as other stadiums. I believe it seats around 45 to 48 thousand people. The stadium food is a bit pricey, but you can get value tickets that aren't too bad of seats! there isn't any benches so each seat has arm rests and soda holders, and your not too crowded as to feel claustrophobic.. Parking of course is difficult as they never build enough, but its not so bad if you don't mind walking 2 or 3 blocks...Its also got a retractable roof so you will never get rained out which in Seattle, is something you need! we have more rainy days then coffee joints! Head out to the field and have a great day at the game!

I love baseball and have been to most of the stadiums that current teams play at. Safeco is one of my very favorite. To begin with, there's truly not a bad seat in the house. The stadium was designed with this goal in mind, and it has been achieved better here than any other field I've been to. You can buy a $70 or a $12 one, and both afford excellent views of the field. Many Tuesdays throughout the season, they offer four tickets/drinks/hot dogs for $50, which is a tremendous savings. Prices don't go up on weekends, unlike most stadiums in the country (Wrigley's four-tier price system is horrible, for example), and--thanks largely to the Mariners' dismal record over the past three years--games seldom sell out. There's a TON of gourmet food on the lower concourse, including sushi and a lush bakery, so if you skip dinner you can fill up on good food. The roof is retractable so if it starts raining, you probably won't get wet. Fans are allowed to bring in whatever food they'd like, but no drinks of any kind (go figure). The best hot dogs ever are outside the gates on East Marginal Way. After the game, they're two for $5.
