Located at 15th Ave W & Gilman Dr W just south of Drauvis Street overpass. Beautiful views of Queen Anne, water, and Magnolia. Decent greens with a frustrating sand trap. Very decent mini golf course and the nicest one this close to downtown. Ample parking. Double-decker driving range and formidable pro-shop. Friendly and competent staff willing to help you as much as they can. Sometimes shows movies on the greens (on a big projector screen) in the summertime. Also has Jazz on Thursdays in the summertime with music, food, and drinking. There is a snack-bar there. Very decent course and the nicest one in this area. Convenient to downtown, Ballard, Queen Anne, etc. Highly recommended.

I've always kept my bowling desires on the down low. It was such a geeky thing to do, and Alex and I were somewhat embarrassed that we had bought our own bowling shoes. Imagine my surprise when I walked into Sunset Bowl on Saturday night to find it absolutely CROWDED with people. It seemed more like a club than a bowling alley. With a bar and restaurant attached, people were gussied up and partying away. I even saw people hitting on each other. Like attractive people. At a bowling alley?! I don't get it.
Our group waited about an hour and a half for the lane before we finally gave up. But not before having some embarrassing fun in the little arcade.

Great atmosphere to watch a basketball game. IT was build back in the mid 90's and Is still one of the nicest courts to play on. There are lots of seats, approximately 50 thousand I think. It is locate in seattle center and provides sufficient parking to the customers. The food is alright, but pricey. They also hold concerts there. All in all, a great place to visit and catch up on the sonics. they're great this year!

OK..so maybe I'm a bit bias. I love the Seattle Mariners even when they sucked (remember the before the mid-90's). OK...they suck now, but atleast the stadium is awesome. The atmosphere is friendly, the people are nice, the food selection is great (but pricey), and the stadium itself is beaufiful. The only other stadium that I have been too that comes close is the SF Giant's stadium which reminded me of Safeco. You've gotta love it!

Long live King Felix! I knew before the year began that we wouldn't be all that great next year, but the team is finally making the move that should have been done two years ago. Out with the old, in with the new. With Felix Hernandez, Jeremy Reed, Adrien Beltre, Richie Sexson, and hopefully Bucky, we will be a team to reckon with in 2007. Go M's!

several years ago if you told me i'd be a wnba/seattle storm fan, i would have laughed in your face. now i pass time during the fall, winter and spring by counting the days until the season begins, which it did yesterday!
if you haven't been to a game but you like basketball or sports or want to do something fun and inexpensive or want to show kids what *real* teamwork looks like, then i can't recommend the Storm games enough.
to start with, you can get lower bowl seats for $10. the games are very family-oriented and kid-friendly. the players often sign autographs after warm-ups. etc.
but the best part is that you will watch 40 minutes of pure athleticism by women who play because they love the game. they don't get paid millions of dollars. they don't have private jets to take them on their road trips. they don't hog the ball and choke their coaches. they play a wonderfully pure form of basketball and will give up a basket for an assist more times than you can count.
i'm a former hard-core nba fan who will NOT go to an nba game anymore but have missed only 2 wnba games in the past 5 years - once for my honeymoon and once for the birth of my little dude.
come check out the 2004 championship team. schedule, team, etc. info is at http://www.wnba.com/storm/. and if you want to speak w/a ticket rep, send me mail and i'll hook you up with mine.

Quest Stadium is right next door to Safeco Field. The seahawks are great. They throw long bombs, and King Alexander is a rush king. I went during a playoff game against the Rams. We lost but it was fun. The open air stadium allows the cheers to echo. Once of the best stadiums in football at the moment. Check out the ehibition center where they hold shows too. Quest is my greatest adventure so far. Check it out as the hawks are headed for the playoffs.

The most beautiful ball park I've been to. As a matter of fact I've been to only two, the kingdom and this one. It was recently build and not too old. They have a retractable roof and is great because it's next to the water and you have a great view of elliot bay. NOt much of a hassel to find parking because the garage is right next door. The garage is also conected to I-90 so all of eastside people have easy access to the freeway. The mariners are a good team and they can only get better. Have fun!

by wanderlust23Every baseball fan needs to see the Mariners from their outdoor stadium - Safeco Field. One of the best stadiums in all of baseball, there's not a bad seat in the house! From the upper levels, you can see Mount Ranier and the seattle skyline. From the lower levels you feel you are part of the action. Safeco Field still boasts one of the only manually operated scoreboard left in moder stadiums. The bullpen is also an exciting place to watch pitchers warm up through the fence in the main level in left field. The Mariners made history in 2001 by becoming the winningest team in baseball! Tickets start at just $7 (outfield bleachers) and go up to $50 for infield seats. For tickets try Ticketmaster. Interesting facts about the stadium: SAFECO FIELD Information about Safeco Field Tours
