This is a really great source of used mountaineering / skiing / biking / outdoor equipment! They have a nice selection of boots, clothes, skis, tents, backpacks, etc, etc. It's not all used - they do also have new guidebooks and other products, but of course the real deals are on the used goods.
It was formerly called Second Bounce and located in Fremont, but for a while it's moved to Ballard next to The Tractor and been known by its new name.
PROS: great selection, good prices, helpful staff

Whether the Mariners are hot or not this season, Safeco Field is a great baseball stadium to be at. Still, prices here (for both single-game tickets and food) are sky high, making it a once-a-season outing for non-diehard fans, or a good place to bring out-of-town guests. By the way, if you're looking for tickets, make the drive to the ticket sales box office at the stadium instead of using Ticketmaster. The box office should always have much better seating available than what Ticketmaster offers at the same price, and without the $10 convenience charge.

Moss Bay Rowing Club---Seattle!
Is it just too hot or do you feel like some exercise? This is a great place to get-away for an hour or all day. A great couple event when you want play in the city. Of course, it is perfect to go to Lake Union and have some solo time out in your rental kayak. The friendly staff will have you in the water quickly---off you go with your oar, life-vest and kayak. There are many other boats in the water; sail and motor. Watch out for the Float Planes. I like to Kayak around the houseboats and to the north end of Lake Union to Gas Works Park.
In addition to Kayaks, Moss Bay has Rowing Shells and Sail Boats rentals. The summer season runs from June 12th to September 15th.
Check out their website. Singles, couples, groups, families,kids and tourists, everyone will find this a winner.

This is the place. They are friendly and knowledgable. The rentals are of good quality and they treat your cycles as if they are their own. If you do not understand they will explain it to you in detail and if you do not agree with them they are happy to let someone else give you a second opinion. I am sure that if you give them a chance you will not be disappointed.

Home of the earn a bike program: a program that teaches neighborhood kids how to fix bicycles, and then coaches them as they put in hours fixing bikes in exchange for a bike of their own. That alone is a cool enough feature to make me want to take my business there.
My experience has been limited to tune-ups and the occational small fix with these guys, and I have nothing but good things to say. They were extremly friendly, did a really good job, and were quite reasonably priced.
Awesome.
