We recently started soccer with our little one, which sounds crazy since he's only 18 months, but Arena Sports has a class for 18-24 month-old toddlers. The great thing for me is the class is on a Saturday so it's something a working parent can participate in (it seems as if all parent-child classes are during the work week).
You can pay for the full session or pay as you go, and the cost is the same. Also, the first class you can do for free as a trial, which we did. I was a bit concerned since my son is still a "new" walker, doing the penguin thing. But, he fit in just fine.
The class was 40 minutes long (perfect amount of time for this age group), and the "drills" were fun and tailored to the age group...and the coach was at ease which is good since they were definitely wandering toddlers beating to their own drum.
I think my son enjoyed the end the best, when the Coach blew bubbles for them to catch.
Parental advice: Have some coffee before you go because being around so many energetic toddlers at 9am will make you TIRED!

athletic supply is a good locally owned sporting goods equipment shop in both Redmond and Seattle. It says where the pro's shop, but pro's don't shop they get their stuff for free. I shop there for the softball and baseball equipment, they have good range of product. Little pricey, but thats what you get for the selection. They also do custom uniforms for your team. I have used them various times to do my shirts for my softball team. Most of their staff is very knowledgable.

You can demo rackets for free at Avanti Sports. There's 2 locations: one in Seattle and one in Redmond. They have a great selection. They're pretty relax about letting you keep it for a little longer. Keep trying different rackets until you find the one you like. Avanti is not the cheapest place to buy but it's a great place for selection and expert advice.
Once you find the one you like, try ebay. It's a little difficult getting the right racket with the perfect grip size but people get amazing deals there. I know someone who got 2 volkl catapults 1 for 70 bucks! The right racket makes a huge difference in your game and luckily how much you like the racket is not proportional to the cost. Hope this helps!

Went there after dinner at the Triangle with a couple of friends and had a great time. The pool tables are in good shape and the mood there is laid back and devoid of attitude.
The ladies behind the bar were cool and sweet and poured great drinks.
Jameson's rocks, and kicking your friend's arse at pool. Sometimes the simple things are the best.
Enjoy.

I definitely didn't like the service or selection at this store. Convenient location, but not a whole lot to choose from. I liked the sunglasses I bought there, but I've been disappointed just about every other time in the store. I don't recommend using this as an option.

I was surprised to see how cheap rackets were when I was last at Big 5. There is a pretty big selection, although not all rackets were available in all grip sizes. I recommend that you research what rackets you would like to have first, as the employees there don't always know about the merchandise.

Service at Big 5 is excellent. They are always cheerful and willing to help with anything that you need. The prices aren't always reasonable when it comes to their sporting equipment, but they almost always have what you are looking for. The shoe department on the other hand has extremely reasonable prices, and their specials are great - if they are in stock. For service and variety, shop here. For great prices, enter with caution.

Home of the earn a bike program: a program that teaches neighborhood kids how to fix bicycles, and then coaches them as they put in hours fixing bikes in exchange for a bike of their own. That alone is a cool enough feature to make me want to take my business there.
My experience has been limited to tune-ups and the occational small fix with these guys, and I have nothing but good things to say. They were extremly friendly, did a really good job, and were quite reasonably priced.
Awesome.
