I've now had 2 tennis rackets restrung at Fiorini. They are very quick (next day), and have done a great job both times. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. They have a good selection of rackets and tennis shoes. Their prices aren't the lowest, but seriously do you ever see tennis gear discounted? However, the name Fiorini Sports is misleading. They actually have equipment for only a limited number of sports: tennis, skiing & swimming were the only sports I was able to identify on my quick walk around. No ball equipment (soccer, baseball, football, basketball, etc.).

I really do not like Big 5 Sports. They are the worst sporting goods store I have ever been to, in terms of service, selection, and prices (and what else is there?). I would recommend that you check out Fiorini’s sports instead. The service is leagues above what you would get at Big 5 and you will probably find everything you need here too!

After equipping yourself with some great gear from Fiorini's you might just have a sporting chance of competing. The first time I went to Fiorini, they did not have what I was looking for, but the staff was still very friendly and helpful, even suggesting a place that might have what I needed. This is not the behavior that most retailers exhibit when they are told that you aren't going to buy anything. This inspired me to come back the next time that I had a sporting goods need. Stop by Fiorini's for a fine selection of sporting goods and a staff that will put you in a good mood.
