I have been a member for almost a month now and am VERY satisfied. It tends to get a little crowded at times like any gym, but never to the point you have to wait for anything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have seen some of the personal trainers that seem a little over-the-top to me (different strokes for different folks I suppose) However, I am getting personal training with TOMMY and it's the best decision I ever could have made. He really knows what he is doing and makes you feel comfortable. I have tried several different gyms and have not got the wonderful training or results like I am getting at Pure Fitness. If you are thinking of joining I HIGHLY reccoment Tommy to sign up with and train with!
Pros: Tommy for a personal trainer, well equipped, BEST deal around!
Cons: Parking lot often full IF you drive.

The gym is regularly crowded and overheated & stink-o in the warmer months - not enough air flow!
Their policy about suggestions from members seems not to exist. So, as long as you dont' ask questions or don't have suggestions everything's A-OK!
Just shut-up and buy the supplements and training packages!
I should have left when my fave trainer did.
Pros: monthly "reprogram", location, clean
Cons: hard sell tactics, poor customer service, crowded

I've tried numerous fitness clubs trough out my years and have never really been impressed by the facilities/staff at any of them. That is until now. Pure Fitness has been a very encouraging force in attaining my fitness goals. It all starts when you walk in the door. The ladies at the front desk are great and the staff is just phenomenal. the free training I received set me up to accomplish what I once thought would never happen.
Pros: Staff, Dues, Hours

Pure Fitness Downtown is amazing. Not only does the staff REALLY care about me reaching my goals, but it is a great place to workout regularly. My favorite workout is spinning for lunch. They have a variety of classes that motivate me on days that I don't feel like working out. Overall, it's friendly, fun and so affordable.

Saw commercial $18 mo. friends membership same with all clubs. ended up paying $30 mo. for 2 clubs stayed for 6 months and when you divide the fees bars lockers ($200) ended up averaging to $56 mo. THAT'S NOT $18 mo. SUPER HARD SELL had to stand my ground and ask for what i wanted. SLY SLICK FAKE personal training, just selling you sups and bars. Mgr nice, but receptionist rude and clueless. Favorite yoga teacher quit, so i quit. we'll se if i really can quit after 30 day "certified letter" notice or if they keep charging me. I do like the cool music and non meat market environment and pilates classes.
Pros: non meat market, excellent pilates, cool music
Cons: WAY MORE than $18 mo, HIGH FEES HARDSELL, rude clueless staff

this gym isn't too bad. The first pitch is to get you to join; then come the pitches to get you to purchase their protein bars, shakes, cookies, etc. If you can get through all that alive (and with a few dollars in your pocket) you can then mind your own business and just work out. Isn't that what you went there in the first place to do?
Pros: inexpensive, high "joining fee"
Cons: constant sales pitch, not so new equiptment, crowded at times

Like many others, I needed help to get in shape and stay that way. From the moment I walked through the door at Pure Fitness I knew I was on the right path. Becoming a member was so easy, and a big plus were the free training sessions! The trainers are always around to give you extra motivation, or advice on using the equipment properly. The front desk staff is friendly and greets me by name. It has really become a second home and I actually look forward to working out! This is a wonderful club.
Pros: Friendly staff, Experienced trainers, Towel service

I must say I have been around the gyms over 15 years and have been a member of just about every one out there, that doesn't require a second mortgage to join. Pure Fitness is by far the best out there. The staff is always friendly and willing to help show me new things ( and don't ask anything in return) like some 24 hour places that want paid for every sentence they speak to you. You receive so much more than (lowest dues in Seattle) what you pay for. PURE FITNESS is really about giving to their members and asking nothing in return other than you giving your all and reaching your goals, while having fun and learning how to live a new healthy lifestyle along the way.
Don't waste time, join PURE FITNESS you can't go wrong.
Pros: inexpensive, conveniant, FUN
