If I desperately need the perfect pair of shoes for something, I can pretty much always be assured that Edie's will have something. Their shoes are adorable; I want them all!
The downside of the store is that the sales help is totally hit or miss. Some of the girls will get up and help you and talk and giggle and really make you feel like buying shoes from them. Some of them will sit on the phone and stare at you with a blank expression if you ask about a size, making you feel like you're really in their way and maybe you'd better slink out with your stilettos between your legs.
The shoes are worth the service, though.

This tiny Capitol Hill boutique sells mainly comfortable, european-looking shoes from lines like camper, S. Edelman, Seychelles and Miss Sixty. The shoes tend to be adorable, fashionable and on the expensive side and I would love to have purchased some of them but they never have anything in stock! I wear a size 9 or 10 and they have NEVER has my size in stock, even in a brand new line.

Edie's shoes reminds me of the boutique shoe stores in Denmark. The people at Edie's puts together a collection of fun and unique shoes. Edie's features brands such as Camper, La Costa, Puma, and Asics (I would like to see them carry some ECCO). They don't keep much in stock and they seldom reorder the same shoes so if you like something buy it.
Right now they are having a 30% off sale.
