lots of buzz about a kiddie shoe store in mad park valley. guess what, it is all true - well almost. selection is surprisingly great considering the sq footage. brands are mostly hip European, not going to find it @ Nordstrom's (yay!). love that you can find equally unique boy selections as well as the girls. ok, here comes the "but..." it is completely without any pretension. i know i should be relieved, because i am absolutely one of those who can afford to pay for pretension but really hate it and feel uncomfortable around it. in this case i'm not sure. the price was told to me apologetically, in a way that was asking me to question my very purchase. by the way my 4yr old was so over the moon over this particular pair of gold boots, i was pleased as punch to get her to wear ANYTHING other than her jackie o gold hamptons thong sandals with hello kitty decals that were purchased at target over the summer. should you go: absolutely will you find something to buy: yes will you purchase: that is up to you more

Children's European Shoes 8/21/2005

This children's shoe store has only been in Madison Valley a short while, and with the high prices one only hopes it can survive. In a small space, it takes only a few minutes to peruse the attractive selection of oh-so-stylish shoes for tots, and yet it feels rude to walk back out so quickly after you realize there is nothing in a moderate price range. While their prices are in-line with similar offerings at Nordstrom, not everyone will want to spend a minimum of $60 on up for a pair of kid's shoes. Yes, the oilily shoes are adorable, and if they had the $200 boots in adult sizes I would buy them, but kids outgrow shoes too quickly to justify fancy European shoes unless money is not an object more
