This is a delightful store, with an emphasis on thoroughness and quality. I've had several pair of boots and shoes restored here, had some shoes customized for dancing, and had the zipper replaced on an expensive bag my mother purchased in Italy several years ago. All of the work was top quality. Someone comes in and does season window displays for the shop every month or so. Those are a wonderful feature of the community!

This is a delightful store, with an emphasis on thoroughness and quality. I've had several pair of boots and shoes restored here, had some shoes customized for dancing, and had the zipper replaced on an expensive bag my mother purchased in Italy several years ago. These guys were referred to me by Dave Page Cobbler (the best place in town for hiking boot / climbing shoe repair - but that's another review). Dave knows his stuff, and Johnny's proved to be just what I needed - high quality work (re-heel and repair on a pair of dress boots), reasonably quick turnaround, fair prices and nice folks. If you need high quality shoe repair and Ballard is on your radar, Johnny's is the place to go.
