I took my boots here from advice from a friend. It took a month to get them repaired. Fine. But they got worn down in half a month and that has never happened to a pair of my shoes before. Usually it takes a year or two. Then my friend, who was his costumer for two years, had to stop going because he told her he'd fix her shoes but then she'd come back after a month or so and they would be sitting in the corner and he'd mouth off to her. Plus, her shoes' repairs wouldn't last either. I love sarcasm and rudeness as much as the next person but he doesn't do his job and that's just annoying.

I haven't taken my own shoes here yet, but my sister drops them off and I usually pick them up for her. The owner (whose name is not Johnny, actually) is pretty honest about shoe care. He recommends that you wear different shoes every other day to keep them nicer for longer. That's an honest man, right there. So I follow his advice...but oddly enough, it means I don't get to have my shoes fixed...go figure. Nice guy.
