Raynproof Roofing in Seattle recently finished putting new shingles on my house. It was a difficult job with a very steep roof. I was concerned about all of my gardens around the house. The estimator told me they could protect the plants by building some raised platforms in some areas, and by using buckets, garbage cans, tarps, and plywood in other areas. I had to pay an extra $880 for the extra care, but this was well worth it to me. I shouldn't need to go through this again for another 30 years. Good job Raynproof! Chris J.

Company is now Baley Roofing Inc. We needed a new torch down. This company was great to work with. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, honest and their price was competitive. What sold us was the customer service. Our roof was finished in a very timely manner and it is awesome. Give them a call.

I've used this company twice and they are the most professional and best priced outfit in town for the money. Their crews are top-notch and do great work. They also clean-up every night and are respectful of neighbors and your landscaping. Easy to work with, best bids, and quality staff.

Being the first time I needed any roofing work done, I had seen a few Legacy Roofing signs around my neighborhood and decided to call them. Not only did they come out the same day to give me an estimate but they answered all of my questions and didn't pressure me into using them. Their knowledge on roofs of my type and having worked on several roofs in my neighborhood already sealed the deal for me.
The price was fair and they did the work to spec of the estimate. And they give a lifetime warranty!
I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to friends.

I priced Bruce's Roofing against Jorve, Legacy and a couple other popular roofing companies on my house in Queen Anne. My insurance company required it as part of a new home purchase, but I didn't want to spend a lot, as I intended to put a second story on my house within just a couple years.
The estimator that came from Bruce's spent time looking at my roof, and providing me with a number of options, including tear-off, overlay, various materials options, and even talked to me about options offered by other companies that sell "guarantees" for existing roofs. I was impressed with his knowledge, customer-service skills, and forthright willingness to work with me and my particular circumstance relative to other companies who would only "do it the right way" (read:expensive) . He was readily available by phone over the course of weeks to answer questions, as I researched materials and installation options on the web and with friends.
Bruce's quote was at least 20% lower than the next closest for similar work and same materials with same guarantee, but a big selling point for me was that the company would bring a crew out and do the whole job in ONE DAY! The only drawback was that I was getting the roof done in the popular summer months, and we had to schedule out almost 6 weeks in advance.
(HINT: look for deals on roofing in the late winter/spring months, when companies reduce their prices in order to keep their best guys on their crews working.)
When the scheduled day arrived, sure enough, Bruce's team of obvious professionals hit the ground running and was done with the whole job, including clean-up, before dark. The job foreman was polite and very interested in making sure I was pleased with the job, and made it clear that they would be back immediately if they missed any clean-up or if there were any issues. There have been none. I can happily and easily offer a referal based on my experience with this company!

They apparently only want to do the larger jobs -- not a flat roof addition to the back of my house. If they had told me that upfront I could have saved a lot of time. They sent out a moderately high pressure salesman who gave us a quote for the whole roof when all we wanted was a small portion replaced. The company management or ownership (I don't know which) has changed since I last worked with them when we had a roof replaced in 1999. They aren't worth the bother.

Their work left an unpainted and exposed area on many parts of the house, and they claim in their fine print that they are not liable to finish the job and the paining/flashing work. I had to hire an independent painter to finish their job. I wouldn't use them.
