this pet food store, which has several locations, gets kittens that have been taken from feral mama cats (who are often too wild to be adopted and instead are spayed and released), fostered with a family and then put up for adoption. they are usually young ( a few months) and in great shape. they free-range in the store so you can really see their personalities. this store is also a great place to get all your pet supplies (mostly cat and dog but also some bird and rodent stuff). the staff is consistently friendly and helpful and SO knowledgeable. you will get persuasive arguments to buy premium pet food which are spendy!

Though my wife and I aren't rolling in the money, as I am sure many aren't, we have decided to do most of pet shopping at Mud Bay. Yes, they do end up costing a little more than the Petcos of the world, but you get something at Mud Bay that I haven't received anywhere else. You receive very personalized service. You also receive a guarantee that if you or your pet are not satisfied with your purchase, they will take it back. Though many establishments might claim a similar policy, I can tell you from experience that Mud Bay will deliver on their policy, and happily so. I have never once been treated like anything but royalty at our local Mud Bay and because of that, our cats are treated like royalty too (the options at Mud Bay are usually quite luxurious). If you have an animal and you are looking for a good pet store to offer advice and friendly service, I strongly recommend Mud Bay.

This cat I know won’t use litter from anywhere else. I’ve been to this store’s several locations and they’ve all been very nice. Their stuff is a little more expensive than the basic stuff at Petco or the grocery store, but it’s also a better quality. The service is good, and you get what you pay for.
