i went to see the highly talked about men's store the Industry when i came to this store in the same little building. it was so nice to see women's clothes kind of hidden in the back of the hallway. the style is so urban and black, just the way i like it. very eclectic. only bad thing is it was so hot in there, but other than that, i love their collection of black clothes!!!! def a must go see

I could go on and on, but if you're looking for personal attention and an amazingly friendly atmosphere, you can't go wrong with Impulse. Jill does a blog, too - it shows modeled photos of all of the stuff in the store - I subscribe to the email updates and usually end up picking something up online as a result. The return policy is always kind - in-store credit , but a lot more flexible than many boutiques. Definitely a must-hit if you're in the area! Pros: Friendly staff, Good return policy, Great Selection, they will reimburse for parking Cons: hard to find (underground) and pricey

Impulse is the best place in Seattle to find ultra cool, hip, wearable clothes and great service. Impulse carries clothes from classically hip designers like Vivienne Westwood (known as the Grandmother of Punk) . They also have great jewelry including some really unique pieces by local designers. The staff is really friendly and unpretentious.

Jill at Impulse has the knack for fashion. This girl is always ahead of the curve and has no problem taking risks on the clothing she buys for her store. With so many girly stores in Seattle, Jill has done the right thing and now carries those impossible to find, high end basics like suits, trousers and blouses that every wardrobe requires. I can't look like a circus every day. Best of all, she spends a lot of energy searching for the perfect, pencil skirt, canvas shoe, party dress and skinny jeans so that you don't have to. This is the best edited store in Seattle. Anything you buy at Impulse will be in style for at least three years before the rest of the folks catch on. To me, that is true value.

We started going to m pulse last year, and have been more or less happy after every visit. The people working there are very nice and helpful, and the clothing is expensive, but worth it. I still get compliments on my purse I purchased there. Even if you're not in the market for clothing, check out the site, get a cup of coffee and see what it's about.

What's great about M:Pulse, is the fact that most of its clothing is made in the studios on premise. And I really do think that the clothing designer are some of the best in Seattle right now. Thier products are not only unique, but they are actully proffesionaly done and made to last. Some of thier skirts are absolutley gorgeous...more than worth a trip to Fremont.
