It was all going well until they gave our order to someone else who picked through the burger, returned it, since it wasn't his, and then they tried to give it to us. We had to kindly ask them to make a new one, which was quite an imposition to the person helping us. I guess they usually get away with that one. One word, gross.
Cons: No parking, Crowded, Gross

Salty. You'll be asking for water as the evening progresses. It's a nice "burnt" beef taste with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion, or whatever combination you may have ordered. It's all very fresh, clean and high quality.
If they could just back off on the salt, add some better seating, and speed up the program a little...then I'd go there often. Others may chime "it's part of the ambience" but I will stick with my moans for comfort and convenience.
Pros: Fresh, Eye Candy Staff, On the Ridge
Cons: Salty, Slow, Um, where can we sit?

this place is being rated on what it was once not on what it has now become. all burgers are pre-made manufactured patties little or no different then anyplace else and the french fries are bargain priced frozen institutional quality not fresh cut or close to top quality fried in often tired oil. the name and location are interesting but the rest is bottom of the line for bugers and fries. i try it every few month's hoping for better to no avail.
Pros: location, name, athmosphere
Cons: burger quality, awful frozen fries, mediocre beverages

They have good burgers, but they don't deserve a #1 ranking. Fatburger in Redmond blows their burgers away!

Way to salty, indicate cheap meat is used. Taste ok until you have a burger with better quality meat.

best burger i've ever had? no. good burger? sure. the wait is always a bit longer than it should be, and the 'ambience' doesn't offer anything (which is fine - they don't claim to offer ambience). so if you're willing to wait and want a consistently good burger, go for it.

This burger joint is the most tasty of them all. It never seems to matter the time or the day that I go to the Phinney Ridge Red Mill, it is packed and the line is long. They offer huge slices of bacon, avacado, different flavors of cheeses, including blue cheese crumbles, chili peppers, fresh lettuce, big fresh tomatoes, and different kinds of buns depending on the style of burger. Chicken or beef and a very tasty veggie burger are offered. Simply yummy! Oh, and the onions rings are to die for. Enjoy...
Pros: taste, portion, selection
Cons: price, wait, seating

One of the best hamburgers in the city of Seattle served in a casual setting. The original Red Mill in the Phinney Ridge area packs them in, so be prepared. The bacon burger would actually make the farm yard pet hog to smile! Try the onion rings for sure...large real cut onions with a crunchy batter. Best idea is to take out..seating area at Phinney is small & crowded..lines out the door on peak weekend hours. This is a "mature" burger for us who don't think they serve "hamburgers" at Mickey D's. Worth the trip! Be patient, it's worth it!
Pros: "Gourmet Burgers", Real Onion Rings, Bacon Burger
Cons: Crowded, Average Fries, Super Busy
