Don't forget they're closed on Mondays.

I agree with all the other reviews. This place has the best burgers-- all those fast food burgers have nothing on Red Mill! Everything I have ever had here has be absolutely amazing. Try the verde burger with fries! The onion rings are great and so are the shakes. They also have chicken burger and veggie options. There is usually a line for lunch on the weekend, but they get through it pretty fast. And don't ever plan on going when the Stones are in town because they close the place down to go to the show! The service is always friendly and speedy. If I ever want a burger, I make the 20 minute drive to Red Mill!

Oh man! Talk about a great burger! It isnt really the burger itself that makes it so good, but rather whoever grills them knows what he/she is doing in order to get a nice flavorful and juicy patty; as well as the unique and flavorful toppings. They use only the best ingredients. I highly recommend the bacon cheeseburger, or if you like blue cheese, the blue cheese bacon cheeseburger! Both are delicious!! Their shakes are thick and yummy! Their onion rings are fresh and homemade, and the flavor is incomparable to any Ive ever tried. They are crunchy and just oh so good! The prices are extremely reasonable! There isnt a whole lot of seating area, although there is some. Best to go at off times, as lunch is very crowded! One thing, do NOT use your cell phone here. They are adamantly against cell phones inside and will tell you to turn it off or take it out! Also, they take checks and cash only. If you want the best burger, this is the place to go!

Red Mill is, without a doubt, the best burger in Seattle. The onion rings are also some of my favorites - yummy cornmeal batter. Chicken and vegitarian options are available. The atmosphere is super laid back and the prices are reasonable. You can guarantee a line almost any time of the day - but it is well worth it! Outdoor seating is great for the summer - and gives you somewhere to hang out while you wait for your burgers. Beware - No plastic. Cash or checks only.

Picture a lunch of the perfect cornmeal-crusted onion rings, a chicken sandwich complimented with sweet red onions and fire-roasted Anaheim peppers, and a chocolate mint shake. Picture your companion’s lunch: a hamburger augmented with blue cheese and crisp bacon, French fries with just the right texture, and sparkling lemonade. Picture again the very best versions of this lunch that you can imagine, and you’ll find yourself imagining Red Mill.

There is usually a line, and if you haven't heard your name it isn't ready yet. It's relatively fast, filling and just greasy enough.
A tasty (not like bun within a bun) veggie burger, but get it verde (with jalapenos and cheese.)
Outdoor picnic tables too.
Get a chocolate chip mint shake and you're good to go.

If you are looking for a great burger and a fun place to hang out, go to Red Mill Burgers on Phinney Ridge. It is small and it is hard to get a table, but it's worth it. The chicken burger is big and messy, but good. This is a great location - if you live in the neigbhorhood you don't have to worry about trying to park in the small lot that is shared with Starbucks.

Since I can walk to their Interbay location from my house, I go there a lot more than i probably should. But it's good. Your basic All American hamburgers, fries, onion rings and pop. I like a restaurant that focuses on doing one or two things really well instead of trying to be all things to all people. Yes, I am talking to you Jack in the Box. It's fairly inexpensive and on several different visits I have seen kids quirt mustard all over themselves, the table and their parents. Excellent.

Red Mill has the best burgers I've had in Seattle. Whether covered in bacon (and do check out their legendary stack o'bacon back in the kitchen), roasted Anaheim peppers, blue cheese or just lettuce and tomato, they're big, juicy, flavorful and everything you think of when you hear "hamburger."
By contrast, their onion rings are the best I've had anywhere in my life. Breaded in a hearty cornmeal-based batter with a subtle peppery kick, a basket of these huge rings of Walla Walla sweet onions is enough for two, unless you're really indulging yourself. And if you want to indulge that much, why not get a boysenberry milkshake too?
