I love the Three Girls Bakery and as I work around the corner from the market, I find my way here often for lunch. They make great sandwiches on their fresh baked bread or a bagel. Their soups are also tasty and feel SO good on a dreary Seattle day. The service at the walk-up counter is friendly and quick - I often end up taking a loaf of bread home too. The kalamata olive loaf is especially tasty.

This tiny bakery at Pikes Place market is great for their sourdough baguettes. The best I've had, with a bubbly, crispy crust. In general, their stuff is pretty good, although it's mostly the basics. I personally haven't tried the sandwiches, although maybe I should, after reading all the other reviews. The scones are good and their cookies are richly indulgent also. A great place to pick up a baguette to munch on as you walk along the market. No seating, just a walk up window.

This is a good bakery in the Pike Place Market. I had a lemon ginger cookie there that was a little expensive, but delicious. It's one of those things I always have to get and stick in my purse when I am visiting the market. They also have nice looking bread and sandwiches for lunch.

Another of my favorite in seattle. When I lived in japan and came home for visits, id go here and load up with bakery goods before heading back to bla bla bla japan. A must stop for anyone. There breads are varied and freash, they have awsome treats and grab a soup and sand from their counter restaurant next door. They always have unique sandwiches as well as traditional. the staff is freindly and uniquely seattle. easy to talk to if bored, or you can read the paper while you eat. If it looks too crowded to sit, just bud in on an empty stool, they will move over for you.

When I worked downtown I ate at Three Girls almost every day. My favorite is tuna on soudough baguette, but all sandwiches are good and their soups - incredible. Plus the old school lunch counter is awesome and I love the guys (yes, they are guys) who take the sandwich orders if you stand in line. Nice guys. Great quality. Good value. Plus it's in the market! What could be better?
