Revolution Coffee recently opened up right off of Greenlake and it is often seems empty. The only reason for this that I could think of is their location-you must walk past a Starbucks and up the street to get there. It is worth the extra block trek though because Revolution serves Cafe Vita coffee and a tasty assortment of snacks. The atmosphere inside reminds me of what a real coffeehouse used to look like in Seattle. Don't get me wrong-this is no Last Exit, but it is a step away from Starbucks which to me is very important.

I don't know what these other people are talking about. The place is comfortable with rotating artist using up the wall space, and good music. They use Morning Glory Chai, and Cafe Vitta. They make all there own pastries on sight.... the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted! The owners are in the shop all the time and really get to know the customers.... It's a wonderful coffee shop and a great place to meet up around greenlake.. much better then starbucks.

Revolutions is another one of those coffee shops that strives to be all Starbucky. The music is annoying and WAY TOO LOUD. I don't really like coffee, but drink tea (yeah, I know...I live in Seattle). Honestly this place isn't that great the people who frequent it are usually those who live around Greenlake (I HATE GREENLAKE). Sorry, I don't mean to sterotype but every place in Greenlake I've been to has somehow turned into a bad experience.
Coffee = 1 star
Greenlake Coffee shop with loud music = -4 stars

Revolutions is a great alternative to the typical Starbucks theme. They have great music (but I do have to agree with the previous post, the music can be a bit loud). Also, it is in Greenlake and can be difficult to deal with a lot of the "pita" people that live around there (no offense). Also, parking is terrible and usually very difficult to find, I recommend walking there if you are nearby. Overall, it is a pretty hip and great spot to grab some coffee and hang out.

This place has free wireless internet and good coffee. They rotate art on the wall, so there is always something new to look at. They play decent music - a bit loud though. They have outdoor seating and wil let you bring your bike inside if you pedaled in. Location is nice and close to green lake park. Parking though is a pain if you drive. Watch out for the meters in front as the meter maid does indeed check - I found out the hard way. One negative is the seating - limited cushy chairs.
