Those of you expecting the old Red Door experience need to get a clue. Times do change, get over it. Those differnces between the old and new...They are the words called "Clean" and "Sunlight" these two words were sorely lacking in the old digs. The food is still great and the service has always been tops in the 12 years I've been going. And if you don't like crowds, don't go during busy times, sheesh, don't be an idiot!
Pros: Yummy Grub, Yummy Booze
Cons: The Stairs

I ad the best experience here. The people were all really nice and the atnosphere was very energetic. The food was outstanding and the beer even better. Lots of Guiness, darts, large tv's and great music. I HIGHLY reccomend you check it out. It's tricky to find on the corner in Fremont, but it is worth!!!
Pros: Great Beer, Great Food, Great Service
Cons: not a lot of parking

Red Door has become a trendy hot spot for the sub-30 crowd. It features strong drinks and a great atmosphere, all mixed into an environment where meeting other people is very easy. If dancing is more of your thing, hit up Red Door as a pre-function and then head over to the Ballroom, which is just down the street.
Pros: Trendy, Popular, Crowded

The Red Door has the best of everything. Go during the day for a fast, reasonably priced lunch; at night during the week for a fun crowd of regulars throwing darts and watching sports; or on the weekend to pick up some little hottie.
The owners, bartenders, and servers are good people. They don't suffer fools and they do show preferrence for regulars. That's what a neighborhood bar should be.

There's a great deal on shots at The Red Door. For only $20 you get 2, 3/4 shots of Patrone. Good thing there cool and don't take advantage of their current "pull" on Saturday nights. Too expensive, but the scene is fun there on Saturday's in September. The deck is nice. Fun and ambitious servers thrive here. "More shots? Jageirmestier??" "Yeah gurl" was our most common response but the effort and fun attitude were appreciated.
