Another option if you'd rather be in Belltown than Queen Anne is the Frontier Room. Frontier Room is a BBQ kind of place and the heavier fare may work well for your crowd if bars are your follow up action for the night. There is a section in the back that is a huge table (made out of one tree) that would accommodate your whole crew. There is a lively bar there and you'd be close to all of the Belltown bars and clubs of which there are pretty much too many to mention here. The good part of being in Belltown is that everything is close and depending on when you get there the parking may not be too bad. If you cab down you can pretty much walk to everything and then cab it home so it makes for a much safer evening for everyone. If you're out late enough and you need late night eats you can always pick up a hot dog at the corner stand too.

I am a competitive BBQ'r and as such I don't order BBQ generally. The one time I did order ribs here they were fair to poor. The brisket sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich are fair. I do know a lot of folks who do like the BBQ here so it could just be me being picky The hamburger however is great. Lots of meat, good seasoning and cooked to order. Oh and the mac and cheese is fairly tasty as well

I remembered that The Frontier Room is YUMMY! I don't know if you're familiar with the Frontier Room of the days of yore: heavy pours and lots of late night action (even *I* got kicked out of that place) but it was redone a few years ago and now the food is excellent. They serve BBQ and all the 'fixins' that go along with it. It's nothing fancy but man, is it good! (And I'm originally from the midwest!) If you're in the mood for some meat, try this place.

The Frontier Room is a fun place to eat a lot of meat. It's pretty trendy, so it's best to make a reservation on the weekends if you have a group. There are boths in the back as well, to get away from the louder bar area. All of the barbeque is delicious, but the portions are ridiculously large. Be prepared to either waste a lot of food or take a doggie bag home. Their mac-n-cheese is creamy and delicious, and even the hush puppies hold their own. A very tasty, very fattening meal washed down with strong drinks.
