The food is not that good and expensive. The place is swarming with kids all day long who are obviously ditching class from the High School across the street. They smoke on the patio and in the parking lot, There is graffiti on the exterior walls and there are often empty liquor bottles in the parking lot. It's just a hang out for juvenile delinquents and the management doesn't care.

Zesto's Bergers is located across the street from Ballard High School. Their burgers are great, a tad greasy but very good. They have a buffalo burger as an option, too. The also have excellent milkshakes. The drawback is the high prices! I would recommend Zesto's Burgers for a special treat, not a quick bite to eat.

Burgers there cost about $6.00 which is a rip off, but i guess that earn a lot of money, so thats good. I wouldn't really recommend it, but if you like pricy foods, check this burger place out!

It's location across the street from Ballard High School probably makes Zesto's a favorite of the teen crowd. This restaurant is fine for that. But don't go here if you are looking for quality food or a good environment. The vinyl seats are ripped and the floor was dirty. The food was bland and boring. The type of food I'm sure tastes good when you are 16, but not once you have grown up a bit.

My husband LOVES Zestos. Anytime we have visitors in town, he wants to take them there. I'm not quite as convinced, however. The hamburgers are okay and there are interesting choices (like the Hawaiian burger and the garlicky Godfather) but I definitely don't think that they are the best burgers ever. The milkshakes are pretty great, though and the "old dinner" feel of the place is nice.

I hate to feel compelled to say this, but I used to love Zesto's. I lived nearby, and went there every day for fish and chips. This was about two years ago. So much has changed, the fish is terrible. I thought that maybe it was just timing, when I was there a few months ago. I ordered the family bucket of fish and chips and the fish was overcooked and smelled and tasted like it was old grease, or something. I could not even bring myself to eat it once I got home. So, I waited and today went again, thinking, maybe things have gotten back to normal. Noooo, it has changed again and terrible. I cannot understand how you can order a two piece fish and chips for $8.00, and they are soo small they are nice enough to give you three pieces. Still, way tooo small, and not enough for a kids meal. The three pieces did not equal the size of one of the old sized pieces. No flavor at all. Hello, I can go to skippers and get all you can eat, or a seafood variety for the same cost. Or better yet, just make it yourself, because anyone can do better. I guess I know why they are changing their focus from fish to alcohol and lattes, like we really need more of that. Sorry :(
