The place used to be great filled with fun characters and great food. Now...it is overpriced, underseasoned, and replicates the ihop menu with a flare. They need to step it up and bring it back to what the Broadway Grill used to be. Awesome friendly servers who had been there for years and the spicy imaginative menu they had before. What happened to all the great servers and head chef? Someone help the management!

Definitely one of best lunches I have ever had in Seattle, I think. It was a late afternoon on a random sunny day a few weeks ago. When it's warm (over 50-55) and sunny outside, they open the huge garage doors in the front of the place and make it an open-air restaurant, essentially. Really packed some times!
The food was magnificent. I had a veggie-wrap with sweet potato fries, which were INCREDIBLE! I can't remember what the heck the others in my party had to eat, but they raved about each item. I would HIGHLY recommend this place, particularly on a sunny, warm day.
I have only had lunch here.

Broadway Grill serves decent food, but it is a bit on the expensive side. The non-smoking area is a sunken dining room with poor acoustics; it gets very noisy. The smoking section borders the windows at street level, so you can watch the characters passing on Broadway. There is also a long counter with about 10 stools; this is nice for single diners and for people who like to watch their food being cooked. Most of their dishes are okay, but not spectacular. The pancakes are not very fluffy, and they are ridiculously overpriced. The hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict is unlike any I've ever tasted; it is very unpleasant. On weekends they have a breakfast buffet which is a good value. There is a big neon sign in the window that proclaims "Serving Food til 3 AM", but my buddy and I stumbled in there one morning at 2:15 and were told that the kitchen was closed.

Try Broadway Grill for lunch, too. They've got a very yummy house soup that pairs well with a half sandwich and fries. You will definitely leave there satisfied.

The Broadway Grill is a good place to grab a late-night snack. They have a different drink special every day, so you don’t have to try to make a Happy Hour. Their food has a nice flair that keeps it from being boring. The salads there are interesting and filling enough to be a small meal and the waitstaff is helpful and friendly.

The Broadway Grill is diner food made fancy and expensive. Everything has slivers of almond or a raspberry reduction. If you would rather have your French toast coated with crumbled gram crackers and dipped in vanilla-creme batter, then this is the place for you. If you prefer simple, good food, you probably should go somewhere else.
