This place is consistently great. The menu changes weekly, but there are some core items that are always available. More

The food was decent. The service was good as well. Overall, a nice place. But nothing super exciting that would make it a must to come back here. More

I have so many good things to say about this restaurant. I moved from New York City to Belltown, Seattle for a year and a half and visited this restaurant no less than twice a week. I've never been to a better place in my life. Sure, there are more expensive, more upscale places than B.B. but why bother? This place has it all! The food is delicious, the prices are low, the service is amazing and the ambience is perfect for any occassion...a late night snack in a tee-shirt or even a date. My girlfriend and I often talk about how much we miss this place. New York has few places like this....seriously, New York!
If you live in Seattle and haven't been here yet, you are MISSING OUT!!

I had a wonderful experience at this latest version of the "Blu Water Bistro" chain. I went there about six months ago, and had a great time!! It was on a weekday (if you would like a quieter dining experience, Fri/Sat night would not be the best option), and we were up in the loft area - so no one walking through...The food was unbelievable!! I sampled everyones food (I know...but, these were close friends) - and theirs ware just as spectacular in addition to my calamari, which I had as an entrée and was very satisfied. Anyway, I'll be back!

So this is the fourth in the "Bluewater Bistro" chain, and it just opend in May 05 in Belltown. The interior is nice, the staff seemed helpful, and the food was well, just ok. I had the stuffed porkchop which came out chewy and dry and with a tart glaze of unknown origin. The mash potatoes were great tho and generous. Here's what I didn't like. It was a saturday night and the place was full to capacity, however, they had their stereo on with some acid jazz (poor I might add) blaring to add "ambiance" in someone's mind. The problem was we were in a open table and I could not hear anything from the other side of the table (I have normal hearing). I asked our food server if she could turn it down, she said she would see what she could do. Evidently "nothing" could be done as no change was made. Why this was especially irksome was the music was adding nothing to room, as it was full of people and the ambient noise level was high already. I can understand adding some music at lesser capacity to add some privacy and zing to the place, but this was completly unnecessary. I plan to write a letter to the management soon.
