I had heard so much about this place that I was very excited to try this place. My first time there, I tried the chile rellenos, which were just OK. The black beans were too salty and the rice was crunchy and underdone.
One of my dining companions was totally incredulous that I didn't want to take home the leftovers ... I'd rather go to Taqueria Guyamas or Burrito Express.

An EXCELLENT value--the burritos are hearty and delicious, the ingredients are all very fresh and tasty, the staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful, the atmosphere friendly and informal, and the service very fast. I've never had to wait in line, which is pretty amazing.
In particular, the condiments are rich and varied.
I have never been disappointed with a meal here, and it's at least 500% better than a fast-food Mexican restaurant like Taco Del Mar, etc.
Compared to the Gordito's in Greenwood, the Queen Anne location was a lot more spacious, clean, well lit, comfortable in a word.
And no interminable waits like at the very popular Mama's in Belltown.
Update (12-15-06):
The QA location closed on the 23rd of Dec.
A few days before it actually closed, I went to this location and I was somewhat disappointed--the ingredients in the burrito were NOT well mixed together, some of the condiments were VERY cold (not a good idea to splash your burrito with them).
Will go to the Greenwood location when I can.

Heres the truth- I'd rather go to Baja Fresh or Chipotle. First off, its fine that the burritos are oversized (I know people like the wow factor of that) but they put almost no meat or veggies in them. Its just a bunch of rice and beans. Its all a runny mess and the rice and beans are "ok" but not worth paying $6 for a huge plate of them, inside a thin flour tortilla. Don't even bother ordering a side of rice and beans, talk about overkill. Also I ordered my burrito spicy. Now I loooooove spicy food but they cut up so many jalapenos in the burrito that half of its coloration was from the green peppers! So on top of bland rice and beans I was tearing and had a burning puffy sensation in my face. I did like the salsa bar but where was the traditional pico de galo? Oh and the music they played... it sounded like polka. Maybe it was Mexican but I wasn't a big fan.
Ok I sounded like I hated it and it wasn't that bad. I mean I ate the whole thing (yes I'm a pig) as did my husband. But do yourself a favor and forgo the Gordito experience. Its not worth the bus trip over.

The burritos are amazingly huge and large, i would recommend getting a regular size for an individual and one huge one if you were on a date. Service is excellent friendly staff, it what you would expect from a mom and pop restaurant.
I enjoy my meal there but the only gripe is that music was in the restaurant blaring loud and limited parking if you want to come during lunch yeah forget parking lol.
but on a nice sunny day you can trek it and sit out in the back where the have chairs and tables which is nice.
