I've tried many of the places around Seattle and this would be my pick for best vietnamese sandwitch. I've only ever tried the #1 (roast pork) but its always great.

Don't be fooled, this is *THE* Saigon Deli to get your sandwiches. They used to be in the Cingular strip mall a block away, but they moved here almost three years ago. Where else can you get a Grilled Pork sandwich (It's the #1) with pickled daikon and carrots, jalapeno, cilantro and mayo on a crispy French Baguette roll for $2?!! All other sandwiches are under $2. They also have hot food, Vietnamese salads and nibbles to take away, and of course, awesomely strong Vietnamese coffee. If I know I'll need a quick dinner that evening, I'll order a #1 and a spring roll ($0.50 each). Dinner for $2.50! Can't beat that!

Saigon Deli is a tiny no frills deli in Little Saigon on Jackson St. It can get a little crowded at lunch, but the wait is never long and well worth it!
