Who knew dim sum could be vegetarian and yummy? Apparently these guys did and it's delicious. The radish cake and bean curd either fried or steamed (we couldn't really tell the difference) would bring me back any day of the week. The service was good, food was good, I don't understand why it was so empty. Who wants to wait 30-60 minutes somewhere else just for meat? I will recommend Vegetarian Bistro to everyone and go back as soon as possible!
Pros: yummy food, no waiting
Cons: parking is always awful in the ID

I had been looking forward to trying out this restaurant-- and was severely disappointed. I ordered a pan-fried bean curd roll that was excessively oily and inedible. Also was in the mood for a soup, so I had the vegetarian wonton soup, which was the most BLAND and TERRIBLE soup I have EVER had in the International District. My favorite foods are Vietnamese and Chinese, so I was unbelievably disappointed by the lack of flavor, and the excess of grease in the appetizer. Although the ambience of the restaurant was welcoming, the awful food has ensured that I will NEVER be returning!!
Pros: None
Cons: Food, Excessive price

The menu is similar to Teapot which is better known but the food at Vegetarian Bistro is infinitely better.
If you like Chinese food you'll love this place. Even friends who aren't big fans of vegetarian cuisine are wildly impressed when I introduce them to Vegetarian Bistro and they've all returned on their own.
Pros: Ambiance, Decor, Service, and the amazing food
Cons: Parking in International District can be a problem

This restaurant is creative and serves wholesome, healthy food. The service is prompt and caring. The environment is comfortable and quiet. I think you will be amazed that the menu covers all sorts of Chinese food, but all done with meat substitues. Very creative and great tasting.
Pros: Healthy and creative food, many choices, great tasting food.
Cons: None that I can think of.
