I don't know where to start singing the Loco's praises. The food, the margaritas, the service, is all outstanding. We go here as often as we can and are never disappointed. The second you sit down and dip that first chip into the green salsa, you know you are in for a good meal. The margaritas are made from scratch and the fresh citrus makes the drink outstanding. The food is always delicious--and not your typical Seattle Mexican food smothered in cheddar. They even have a menu just for vegetarians, and my fave Vegetales Al Gusto is vegan! I see some people are down on the location, but that's what makes this place a real gem--you know you aren't just at some trendy restaurant. The place is colorful and fun once inside and we love eating our awesome Mexican food as we watch people across the street get their burgers at the drive in.
Pros: the food! the drinks, salsa, service

I didn't think the location was too bad, and it didn't look dreary like someone said on the other review. The food was SO fantastic. I had their Enchiladas Verde. It was very very good. My fiance had a carne asada burrito and it tasted yummy too. The service is muy muy bueno! The decor is cute and fits the mood!! This is by far the best Mexican food I've had since moving here from Southern California, where there is an abudance of Mexican food. I was happy to see that they had the traditional soups like Posole on their menu. Want great Mexican food? GO to Burrito Loco!
Pros: Good Parking, great service, great atmosphere
Cons: not any I can think of!!

Okay, I'm a snob when it comes to fresh ingredients! I love this place. It's a little small, but the prices can't be beat compared to the quality. I always get the Vegetarian Burrito and I'm not a vegetarian - it's fresh, yummy, and even tastes better when saved for later. I find that I'm full half-way through and it's enough for another meal! It's family owned and never disappoints. I'll have to try the spinach enchilada, that sounds great!

Burrito Loco on Holman Road is a good stand-by. It's somewhere I go when I want a tasty meal for not a whole lot of money. It's a casual and clean place, with charming murals on the wall. I enjoy the selection of vegetarian options (the spinach enchilada is quite good), beer and the complimentary chips and salsa. It was crowded last time I went but that to me is a good sign. And because it was a bit crowded the parking lot was full and we needed to park sort of on the sidewalk.

Burrito Loco Taqueria is a fine place to grab some burritos to go or to eat a good lunch or dinner and enjoy the colorful murals in the restaurant. They serve green and red salsa with the chips and the guacamole has real veggies in it. There is a choice of whole, refried or black beans and they have a large vegetarian menu which is very good. This is one of my favorite places to have chile rellenos which you can order as a side or as a dinner that comes with rice, beans and a choice of corn or flour tortillas. And, there is a kid's menu which is sure to please almost anyone. (Grilled cheese sandwiches also, just in case!) Salads? Yes-choice of. Beverages; fresh jamaica (hibiscus flower juice) or fresh lemonade, horchata (sweet, cold rice drink), lots of soft drinks including Penafiel sodas (yum), beer and wine. Everyone is very nice and service is quick. So for north-end residents and visitors, this is great place for a meal! Burrito Loco is easy to find -it's across the road from dick's drive in-- and there is nearly always parking right in front of the restaurant or in the lot for the building.

Wow, I've passed by this place a couple dozen times, before the wheel of my car pointed me in the direction of Burrito Loco. It didn't look like much from the outside, but believe me the taste buds don't lie. It was muis caliente.
They started me off with some chips and salsa two kinds, one included tomatillos. It kept coming, and never stopped coming throughout the whole meal. Service was exceptional. Chile Rellenos, are a must.
After having lived in San Antonio, TX; Monterey, CA, and Colorado I've developed quite a taste for Mexican food. Each area of course has its own variations. Seattle is catching on, but not quite there, when it comes to Mexican Food. Enter Burrito Loco.
Good Salsa + Good Food + Warm Friendly service = Happy stomach and happy me.
My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Give me some Burrito Loco.
Pros: Excellent Salsa, Great Service

What I love about Burrito Loco is that I can get a Veggie Burrito for $5.50, when feeling a bit broke, or I can get a full on Mexican meal for $8-10. The flavors at Burrito Loco are much fresher than many chain Mexican restaurants & they serve whole beans (a big plus to us non-refried fans). We eat their at least twice a month. My favorite is the Taco Dorados...yummy
Pros: Not super expensive, Fresh mexican taste, nice folks

Authentic if not terribly inspired Mexican food that's a step up -- both in food and décor -- from what most people think of as a taqueria. Good carnitas; they were out of their legendary chiles rellenos when I went.
Pros: good carnitas, reasonably authentic

The food is great, and inexpensive. But my experience was marred by the rather curt and unfriendly waiter who glared at me after I told him the dish he brought me was not what I had ordered. A simple mistake, really. I said "Chile Verde Burrito" and he brought me a chile relleno. No big deal, right? Well, the look and attitude we got after that incident was appalling. After he brought me the correct dish we were actually served by another waiter for the duration of our meal. What the...?
Pros: Great food, Good value
Cons: Impersonal service, Tacky dining area
