i recently ordered-in food from this establishment and it was horrible, so much so i couldn't finish the food. it tasted like plastic, and the food that i ordered did not come as the menu expressed. instead it was cheap, poorly prepared, and over all a waste of money.

If you are willing to walk a few blocks from the center of the universe, this is the best Thai in Fremont. The restaurant has a really weird, colorful décor, which I love, and seems like a mom and pop operation (though I can’t substantiate that claim). Best of all, there is never a wait for a table, and the food is really great for the price. I always get this kind of sweet red curry with peanuts…it is totally awesome and unique to this place.

We decided to veer from Jai Thai and Tawon Thai (our usuals in Fremont) and walk further west on 36th. We intended to go to Kwanji Thai for a little variety. We weren't paying attention and we walked too far down 36th- to our great fortune we landed at Chillie's Paste!! Chillie's paste has a chain look to it (or is it just the name?) but it has the most kick ass panang we've had in Seattle. The curry came out piping hot and was just the right texture- the tofu was nice and the peppers fresh. The soup we ordered (we only remember it as #25) was also out of this world- perfect sour and sweet flavor, nicely accented with peanuts and tofu and glass noodles. The waitstaff was friendly and we're going back again and again. We already craved #25 as we made the walk home back to Wallingford. Don't miss this spot- right across from the George & Dragon.
