I think I prefer this one than the one in Bellevue, something about being in seattle with a group of friends. The drinks are good not more expensive than any other downtown hang out.

We met some work friends here recently. It is a definite 5 star restaurant in terms of quality and service. The food is delicious and the wines really compliment the meal. However, this is a downtown restaurant and very expensive. It is kind of a one-time thing if it is for Prom, Engagement, Anniversary. Even then, it is more than we will spend again.

Our family went to Palomino's for our parents 50th Anniversary. There were 9 of us, so a pretty large party. We had a 9:30 pm reservation, so it was quite late when we went and not many patrons were there eating, so I thought the waiter should be overwhelmingly attentive. However he seemed... distracted. When he first came he gave us the run down on the specials, then disappeared. Upon returning my mother asked for him to repeat the specials and he said, "They are on the menu." WHAT THE.... However, after that MAJOR faux pas he seemed to rebound. He made excellent suggestions and really steered each of us to picking wonderful suggestions. ONTO THE FOOD: People, I cannot express with sufficient vigor just how well my steak was prepared. I ordered the bone-in Prime Rib. OMG... Let me repeat OH MY GOD, it was as if God Himself prepared it! YES it was that good... or great... or Heavenly!!! And just to confirm, my brother ordered the same dish but thought because it was a 20 oz. he would share with his lady. WRONG ANSWER! He soon realized that he should not have even given her a taste. As he felt that both he and she were shorted because they both wanted the entire dish!!!
Pros: Food was FABULOUS
Cons: Don't go too late, waiters get lacksidasical

I'd gotten a $75 gift card to Palomino's. And boy am I glad I went with a gift card because after being touted by many as an awesome place for food, my wife and I came away with the feeling if we had paid with our own money we would have gotten only average food for an expensive bill.
I had the Paella, which was served EXTREMELY HOT, so much so that I burnt myself twice on the metal and my wife ordered the Sea Bass. The Paella was spiced, so that whenever I ate the rice with the seafood the spice masked the seafood's flavor. The clams were good, not gritty or anything, but everything was ... OK. OK meat, OK spices, OK sea bass. My wife said that I cook better than here, and I have toa gree.
Normally, I wouldn't complain if the price was reasonable. But it wasn't. When the bill arrived, for an appetizer (fondue), two meals and one wine drink brought the total to over $80! Really, for that much I could have cooked a week's worth of food, and with more passion! And that's exactly what is missing from here: passion for cooking, trading it with a unique atmosphere, a good serving staff, and average food, and profits.
So in short, if you're looking for manufactured food in a somewhat unique setting and don't mind paying twice what you normally would, do go here. But otherwise, stay away. You're downtown! There's many other, better, places for the price.
Pros: atmosphere, service
Cons: price for the quality, parking

I'm not sure what it is about this place that has made me fall so deeply in love with it. The tomato basil pizza is so totally rockin' and the menu in general is amazing. Happy hour is awesome - if you can find a seat. Dinner is not cheap but the food is prepared exceptionally well. Great date spot too!
Pros: Awesome menu!
Cons: Kind of expensive.

I regularly go to Palomino with a group of friends. We've always had great service. And I think the food is great. They have a nice mix of pricepoints - you can choose anything from a burger on the bar menu to something from the restaurant menu. The pecan crusted blue cheese salad is delectable. The sausage and mushroom pizza has the right mix of cheese, toppings and tomato sauce. The desserts are awesome. Bread pudding or chocolat volcano are probably my favorites.
Pros: validated parking
Cons: noisy

We booked reservations here because it was close to the 5th ave and a friend rec'd it. I was worried that it was be a glorified cheesecake factory because it is a national chain. I found the menu interesting and had a hard time choosing due to such good options. The service was pretty good eventhough the place was very busy. The food was excellent. The cheese fondue appetizer was VERY tasty. We also had a chopped salad and duck confit which were both also very nice. I'll go back in a heartbeat.
Pros: Food, menu, location
Cons: busy and loud
