Koreana is a nice treat when you're in the mood for some tasty Korean food while in the U-District. Unlike other places which offer a mixed menu of Japanese and Korean food in the U-District, Koreana offers the full entrée-with-side-dishes-combination that one sees at more traditional restaurants. It's a nice, quiet, relaxed location and very mellow during lunchtime. The staff are friendly and it's very enjoyable. The entrées, especially bibimbap and bulgogi beef are very worthwhile.

Koreana is a nice treat when you're in the mood for some tasty Korean food while in the U-District. Unlike other places which offer a mixed menu of Japanese and Korean food in the U-District, Koreana offers the full entrée-with-side-dishes-combination that one sees at more traditional restaurants. I have been there for a couple of times. It is a little bit far for me to walk to there in the rain. Usually i order their lunch specials before 2pm for $5.95. I have tried several items there and loved BibimBob and the soup. When I take it out, they will give me 4-5 side dishes and a small cup of soup. Make sure you get there before 2pm and you will get a good deal on on lunch there.
