Taco Del Mar

I will admit it - I love Taco Del Mar! Their food is so fresh and tasty, and made quickly, so it's easy to pop in for a quick lunch-hour treat. My favorite things are the fish tacos and the fish burrito - these are their specialties, and they really are good, although the burritos are so big I can easily make 2 meals of them. The fish stays nice and crispy and warm and it's a little tasty surprise waiting inside all the other usual burrito or taco fillings. Yum! more

If you're looking for a good burrito, there is a paucity of quick places that will be able to satisfy that hunger here in Seattle. Taco Del Mar is good, but that's about as far as I would go. I like that the Queen Anne location is always clean, and the people there are indeed friendly. But given that it is still "nearly fast" food, I think people will be disappointed if they go out of their expecting anything more than a decent burrito. more

Yes I gave it five stars and yes I know it is not exactly gourmet or even locally owned but hey good people go a long way. As I stated before I do agree that it is kind of silly to review a corporate chain BUT if there is a good reason then WHAT THE HELL!! This Taco Del Mar is hands down my favorite, the staff are very friendly, the cool little tiki bar feel is very cozy and they are always very kind and professional. Just being located in Pioneer Square has it's challenges but being open past two AM brings a whole new set of challenges. These very professional employees put up with a lot of crap each night and they do it with a smile on their faces and while remaining focused on quality and customer service. Even if you have a Taco Del Mar you frequent you should take a minute to stop by here one night and say hi, they will treat you with respect no matter how drunk you are and you will always leave full. more
