If you're looking for a great sushi place on Broadway, Hana is definitely the way to go. Their sushi is very fresh & flavorful. My favorite is the hamachi.
You can order by the piece or they have a various platters available for consumption in-house or to go.
Their menu also lists lots of traditional favorites such a Tempura Udon Soup, Ton-Katsu, Teriyaki, etc.
It seems like they have been in business forever, are always very busy, and are very reasonably priced. Service is very fast, which is a bonus if you're in a hurry.

we stumbled on Hana after a friend told us they had the best Katsu Curry he's ever had, which isn't a common dish for a Japanese restaurant to be known for. As we entered for the first time we noticed lots of Japanese customers and yes, the owner/sushi chef is also Japanese. (as a general rule if the sushi chef is not native Japanese, then you better stick to the cucumber roll and water). Not only is their katsu curry amazing (i'd suggest getting the curry on the side though) they also have some of the best tempura in Seattle. Tempura is supposed to be light in color and not greasy which means they use fresh oil and you can really tell in the taste. Their sushi is decent as well and very reasonable! you can't compare it to a Saito or Nishino, but it's very fresh.....a step up from BlueC.
their prices are very reasonable and the service is great.......overall a great value!.............so do yourself a favor and get some real miso, green tea and sake in you.....you'll feel much better.

Hana located on East Broadway on capitol hill has a fantastic lunch/dinner menu. The $6.95 bento box is more than you can eat. I recommend the soba noodles . Lunch is served until 4:30 PM. This is a new found lunch location that definitely makes the list. Hana can be crowded at times but the quick turnover assures that a table will open quickly.
