Bahama Breeze is a part of the Darden Family Restaurant chain---the same folks who bring you the Olive Garden, Red Lobster and a few others that escape me. So you can expect a big, bustling restaurant that caters to families and is busy pretty much any time you go. However, I am a fan of this place for a few reasons. First, it is a fun theme. With the rain pouring down outside, it is a ton of fun to dine on island-inspired cuisine. It may not be authentic (think Olive Garden's take on Italian fare) but the portions are huge and usually pretty tasty. As with the other Darden establishments, the vegetarian offerings are not vast, but acceptable nonetheless. I went there before a concert at the Tacoma Dome with some friends and was very happy to see that the beverage menu was so reasonable--only $5.25 for a very tasty pina colada and I didn't see anything over $6. That alone makes it worth the drive to Southcenter. Bahama Breeze (along with the other Dardens) does not take reservations. The wait can be quite extensive (over 2 hours when I was in Philly) Here's how to get a table without waiting for hours: call when you leave your house. While they assure you that this is not a reservation, they put your name on the all-important list. We were seated in 2 minutes flat, even on a busy Saturday night. This is key because waiting that long will suck the fun out of any dining experience.

My husband and I recently went there and we both had a wonderful time. Our waiter was very helpful in recommending dishes. If you have a chance to try the sweet potato dish, do it! Even if you aren't sure you'd like them, it is worth a try. They are by far my favorite side dish there. What's more is the decor there. You feel like you're at a tropical location!

If you haven't tried Bahama Breeze then you are missing out. This is one of the best places to eat. The atmosphere is perfect. It makes you feel like you are on vacation on some island. You should call ahead before going since it is always a 1-2 hour wait on the weekends. They don't take reservations but put you on the call ahead list. The chicken kabobs and crispy chicken salad are amazing. By far my favorite things to order. Once the weather gets nice they have a great outdoor bar that is always crowded but very fun. Great place to eat and on the weekends they have live music. You will not be disappointed on your dining expreience here.

If you are like me and enjoy the whol Hawaiian/Sunny palm tree scene, then you will love the way this restaraunt is set up. It is located right by Southcenter Mall. They have palm trees all around it inside and out, and its really set up to make you feel like y u are in a nice sunny place thats tropical. The items on their menu are delicous as well. Their beef kabobs are very good and if you are a seafood fan, they have plenty of seafood to choose from. I really enjoyed their seafood paela, and their tiger prawns. Every plate is unique and freshly made. They also have a big variety of drinks. So go and check them out.

Bahama Breeze is the best restaurant I have been to in years. Although its seems massive, loud, crowded, and out of control- I’ve never had to wait for a table and it just adds to the atmosphere. The food is so amazing- from a hot goat cheese appetizer to amazing seafood creations to fabulous desserts everything is worth trying. Pass your plates around and share with your neighbors- you wont’ want to miss a thing at this unique restaurant.

This place is even busy during midweek lunch. Must have patience on Friday or Saturday evening, as the wait may take up to an hour. Once you make it in, the place gets to be fairly loud. The atmosphere is ok, the food is decent, and so are the drinks. This place should be hoppin' in order to live up to it's name - Bahama Breeze, but there is really nothing spectacular about this restaurant that makes it stand out.

Bahama Breeze is a great restaurant located near the southcenter mall in tukwila. They have such good food and drinks! The resaurant is very busy but well worth the wait. They have a large menu with very different plates. Not only do they have great dinners but they also have the best desserts! They Tres Leches cake is to die for!
