Honestly, the food ALONE was well worth the price of the tickets; and the show was just an added bonus! Both were superb and I would HIGHLY recommend attending this spectacle. It's great for taking some out-of-town guests to enjoy a good, long meal with some decent entertainment. - And the shows change quite often, so you're not wasting a ticket if you attend once a year!

Think of a nice dinner with a quasi Cirque du Soleil show. When I bought tickets I thought the money was mostly for the show and the dinner was to keep us from starving. I added the flight of wine with my meal and thought the food was good. If you want to go see a great show, go to Cirque du Soleil. If you want a great meal, go to Mistral or Herb Farm. But Teatro will give you a taste of both.

This is a prime entertainment - I laughed hard through most of the show (pretty unusual for me) - hilarious characters. I especially liked the queen and the chef (I won't tell you more for fear of ruining it for you)!! They're a very confident bunch - that helps. The food was mouth-watering as well. It's a five(?) course meal - you get to chose from three entrées (includes a vegetarian meal), all of which look and taste freshly prepared. Service is quick and you hardly know they're there as they pass by during the show. Now, for the few complaints...You'd think for a 3 hour dinner the seats would be semi comfortable, but my large husband could only fit one cheek on the bench they had us sitting on (I'm exaggerating a little), and by the second course my butt was numb! My only other complaint was the cost - the multi-course meal plus the entertainment was definitely worth $100. a ticket, but we ended up with a tab for another $70. by the end of the evening 'cause the meal doesn't include drinks, of course, and they charge another automatic $10. each for tip for the show - I think they should include a "tip" in the price of the ticket (a little misleading, I think)...there were a lot of people milling around, confused about their ticket after the show - you could tell the servers were all used to the complaints! So, go...it's fun, you just need to be ready for a few things. The few complaints I had almost ruined the evening, so I wish I had known about them before hand.

Teatro Zinzanni is a zany, outlandish experience complete with delicious food. Tom Douglas designed the menus for Teatro, which explains why the food is so dang good. They cater to both meat-eaters and vegetarians, which I was thankful for during my vegetarian phase. The entire evening is well choreographed, complete with embarrasing diners and mid-air acrobatics. Their drinks are out of this world; I've never had a better lemon drop. It's expensive, so treat yourself!

Teatro Zinzani has been around for several years, it seems. I was last there about two years ago. To call it dinner theatre is an injustice and understatement. It is a true original, with good food served over several courses. It is somewhat like vaudeville on acid. You don't know quite what will happen next, but it will likely be very funny and unpredictable. And droll. Even at $150 a person, this seemed worth every penny. Worth the splurge on a friend or visitor who is jaded or hard to please. Or just one who thinks they've seen it all.

Take a date here if you want to have another one. The show is amazing, like Cirque du Soleil with food and drinks. I only wish I could do the things the performers do. The show is wonderful entertainment and gives you and your date plenty to discuss over a cocktail afterward. If your lucky you may even become part of the show.

A night at Teatro ZinZanni's "Dinner and Dreams" was a gift given to me for my birthday. Having never heard of it before, I didn't know what to expect. All I was told was to "dress well". When we arrived, we found an assortment of outfits, from dinner casual to vintage formal dresses, many accessorized with feather boas, plumed hats and sparkling masks. TZZ has an area in the main lobby where you can purchase accessories if you came unprepared, and we each bought a high-quality feather boa ($35). They also sold costume jewelry, men's top hats and vests, costume masks, and other miscellaneous items. Onto the show: My friend and I entered the tent - the tent that doesn't feel like a tent but more like a regular restaurant but with a peaked ceiling - and were taken aback by the scene. The room was mostly filled already and quite crowded, arranged around a circular center stage and with a side stage with a band playing live music. Upon our seating, we found our appetizer ready and waiting for us. A mediterranean-inspired appetizer of dolmade, hummus and roasted red peppers, I was delighted with the quality of the food. Shortly after being seated, the show started. We were treated to an ecclectic, well-produced show with a wonderfully entertaining cast. A cross between Cirque de Soleil, Moulin Rouge, and a fabulous dinner, everyone from the cast to the staff serving the food was dressed in old-fashioned suits, corsets, short skirts and fishnets. The show was captivating, drawing gasps, laughter, and wide-eyed stares from the crowd. Including the audience in the show made for a fun twist on an already fun show. The dinner courses were brought out between acts, giving you enough time between to avoid feeling "stuffed", but never allowing you enough time to feel hungry. Each new act began at the tail end of the course, but it was arranged perfectly so I didn't feel rushed to finish and I never had to wait around for something to happen. The food was excellent; beside the aforementioned appetizer, we were treated to a cold cucumber soup with prawns and tzadziki and an egyptian inspired salad before the main course. I chose the pomegranate-marinated beef with a delicious, light, creamy yogurt sauce served with fruited barley and lightly steamed green beans. For dessert, we were brought "Passionfruit Pyramids", a passionfruit mousse atop a crust of crushed almonds, served in the shape of a pyramid. The food was delicious and satisfying and the service was excellent. My first drink of choice was the ever-popular cosmopolitan. I was disappointed in the drink as it contained much more fruit juice than the cosmos I enjoy, but my next drink was an MacIntosh Martini that was just the right balance of high-quality vodka and sweet Apple Pucker. Overall, Teatro ZinZanni was a combination of great entertainment and delicious food. My only complaint was how crowded the room felt when everyone was seated. It was difficult to move without being uncomfortably close to another guest. The cost of the food and drinks, while on the expensive side, was worth every penny as we left full from a delectable dinner and still excited from a sensational show.

Have you ever wanted to go and have a delicious 5-course meal while you watch an entertainment show? Teatro ZinZanni is that perfect place! This is one of the most finest performances I've seen in Seattle. And its not just any show, the performers interact with the audience and let them be a part of it. They have all sorts of performers; comedians, clowns, musicians, trapeze performers, and more. The food is scrumptious and the performance is outstanding. But you have to make your reservations ahead of time, and they get booked pretty quickly. This is a pricy entertainment, but I believe that you get what you pay for. So dress up, grab your date, and enjoy an astonishing night at Teatro Zinzanni!

This is truly a wonderful dinner theater! We had an amazing time. It is so hard to explain, you just have to go and experience it for yourself. There is a storyline in the show and every performer has a role. Every performer also has a talent such as trapeze, balancing, juggling, opera. These are not just people who do these talents well, they are most definitely world class. So you get a taste of some very unique performances. The best part is Cesar, the chef. He is hilarious! He introduces each course in the meal (5) by taking audience members and talking with them, joking and getting them to do some pretty funny stuff. My husband was picked out as a possible Cesar replacement. This is my husbands worst nightmare but he got up their and it was the funniest thing I have ever seen! He had to do the Cesar dance and endure a little ribbing from Cesar. He even enjoyed it! If you go, dress up! It is a beautiful and intimate venue. Bring a feather boa, a sparkly mask or just have fun and wear that dress you have always wanted to wear. You can also purchase fun and cute accessories at the store inside. The service was truly amazing. So well planned and smooth, no long lines, no waiting for the check. It was a lovely evening. There is parking outside in their lot ($10) but there are lots of meters outside that are free after 6 pm. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go see this! You will absolutely not regret it.
