My husband and I frequent this place for the margaritas. They are great! Especially for half price at happy hour. They also have a great happy hour menu. The food is really great for a chain place as well. For dinner we always split the fajitas.
Pros: Awesome Happy Hour!
Cons: gets busy on the weekends

The place is always packed on the weekends. And it's not because the food is great. The movie theatre keeps that place busy. The food is on or a miss. Sometimes it on, sometimes it's off. The same goes for the drinks. As busy as they are you would think they could get things right. Wrong!
Pros: close to the theatre
Cons: it's close to the theatre

Yes, it?s not real authentic Mexican food, blah blah, yes, corporate restaurant, all that. Whatever, if you?re waiting for your movie to start it?s a good place to grab a beer and a taco. The veggie fajitas are a good value (one order is enough for two) in an otherwise very over priced menu. The enchiladas are very nice though rather mild. The shots are generous, though I can only afford the 1800 out of the ample Tequila menu. Margaritas aren?t bad, but you?d do better at Toreros (401 Broadway E ? On top of QFC). Bottom line, it?s a nice place to waste some time ? it?s certainly cheaper than the Gordon Biersch and a big step up from the other eateries in Pacific Place.
Pros: Tecate and Dos Equis on tap - close to the theater
Cons: it's a yuppie bar

I love Mexico Cantina! I have never had a bad meal there. I introduced my friends and now Tuesday nights are all about ribs after practice. Yeah! Ribs at a Mexican joint! The best in town. The meat falls off the bone so easily you don't even need to use your fingers. Just stick your fork in and give it a twist. The pablano sauce on the chicken enchiladas are to die for. The rice and beans are the best. It's not your typical Americanized Mexican menu either. Lots more than just burritos & tacos with extra jalapenos. Watch the fresh sheet for exciting specials. I want the sugar cane skewered prawns and salmon special again. Oh, and one thing you won't see on the menu... half orders. Most of the portions are big, so If you feel like eating lighter, many of the meals can be cut in half. Just ask. The staff is beautiful, friendly and knowledgable. And the drinks are great. A nice selection of tequilas, too. It does get packed at times. But I almost always get a spot in the bar with no wait. Give it a few minutes and the next movie starting will open up a few tables and bar stools.
My only complaint... 3 TV's, not very well placed (unless you enjoy a stiff neck) and all working off one tuner so there's only one game to watch at a time. That could send some sports fans next door.
Pros: The ribs, the seafood & the staff
Cons: Place the TVs where they're actually visible from the bar & use separate tuners

If this is the "Best Mexican Restaurant in Seattle", then its time to move to the 'burbs! This is not a Mexican restaurant, this is a corporate theme restaurant. Located in a opening at the top of the Pacific Place Shopping Mall, the ride to the top reminded me of a scene in Soylent Green where I was about to be processed. I opted for a traditional Mexican triple-threat dinner and margarita, whilst my wife went for a nouveau cuisine chicken with mango. One kid ordered the chicken quesadillas hold the peppers. The other ordered chicken enchiladas, sauce on the side. In general the scheme of this restaurant is to make Mexican food "nouveau cuisine" by removing all signs of fat and flavor. They apparently use no cheese nor spices. When my margarita arrived I thought I had been served a Shirley Temple by mistake. However, holding it up to the candle-light in the darkness revealed that it glowed green not pink, to my great disappointment. This is the sweetest drink I have had anywhere, including the Kool-Aid my mom served me as a child. Even my kid wouldn't eat the quesadillas -- what is a quesadilla without any cheese? Dry as a rice cake. The chicken enchilada sauce was simple white sauce, no cheese and no spices. My wife's chicken was tasty, but only because I suspect it was raw in the center -- I couldn't see for sure because it was too dark. If you think Cucina! Cucina! is an Italian restaurant, then this is the "Mexican" restaurant for you! A good choice for people who are afraid of food, including old ladies and small children.
Pros: Kids
Cons: Margaritas, vibrating reservation light thingees like the Olive Garden

I found out about this restaurant about a year and half ago and the food is just so good. It's unique and flavorful. If you've ever been to a Las Margaritas or Tres Hermanos, you know how bland and greasy "typical" Mexican food can be. But the menu at Mexico has many seafood, vegetarian, and even vegan options. They use unique spices like cumin, epazote and interesting sauces that include, capers, tequila, pomegranate, and even manchego-chile mashed potatoes. The servers are awesome, the cocktails and wine to die for, and overall it's just a wonderful place to eat...even if it is in a mall atmosphere...and word on the street is that there should be more restaurants opening soon but of a different style and variety, which leads me to another great point-this restaurant is not a chain!! Just check it out!
