if you are hungry and/or in a rush, you will never go wrong with orrapin. they have a nice menu selection, if not inspired. the food is tasty, and can be a wee bit on the spicy side but not too bad (i'm a spice wimp). the waitstaff is very nice and the food comes out *very* quickly. great place for vegetarians, too. take-out is a great option there as well. usually ready in 10-15 mins, even on a busy night. i don't think i've ever waited for my take-out order for more than 2 minutes.

At least once a week my wife and i grab take-out from Orrapin (peppered beef, pad-sa-sew (spelling?)) and i'm never disappointed. The servings are so bountiful that even thought we are big eaters there is always some left over for lunch the following day. I usually order 2 stars for spicy and that is about right for a mild spice person. Btw - we use to eat in once a week but we now have a baby girl so eating in becomes more stressful than watching the Seahawks lose in the 4th quarter.

recently orrapin noodle experience changed itself to a bistro - orrapin thai bistro. it's still a nice, cute little place with very yummy & piping hot soups, but when i was there i couldn't tell if i was in a bar, a bistro or a noodle shop. this restaurant seems to be striving to be all 3, and it's a bit odd. i wasn't sure if the main focus was the food or the full bar. but, as i said, the food is good and it's a perfect place to go on a chilly and/or rainy nite. and the service is good too. so no real complaints but not someplace i'd tell everyone to try. that's my story and i'm stickin with it.
