Good: The first thing you notice is how friendly the employees are who greet you and take your order. I don't know why I noticed in particular that all of the servers were also very clean. Both in their dress and under their fingernails. And then the portions they serve seem to be above average and their dessert was to die for! They have a good variety of dishes, so everyone should be able to order what they like.. Bad: The parking lot was too dark for my liking and therefore a little bit concerning, not that there were any problems. It was just my paranoia.. Improvements: Nothing that I can think of. I even enjoyed the quaint decor..

The atmosphere is warm, friendly and comfortable. The waitstaff competent and knowledgable. The breakfasts are AMAZING and the coffee unsurpassed. Happy hour is great too!

By far the worst place i've ever dined. Horrible service all around. Cold food, cold greetings and an overall cold atmosphere. Save your money and go to IHOP where at least you get what you pay for.

Nikolas is what the old Rusty Pelican Cafe used to be called. I've been in there twice since it has changed names (I know, I know, it's been a few years), but I can't shake it. There is just something about the name that is so...polarizing! I really should get over it, but I can't. The name, "Rusty Pelican", is stupid. I'm sure the food is fine, but I could never look someone straight in the face and tell them I've been to the "Rusty Pelican". Basically, I'm pining for the days of Nikolas, which were a little greasier, grimier, more abrasive and perhaps a little more understated. I'm just an old fool...

I've appreciated the name of this restaurant from a far long before I actually tried it. I've only been in for breakfasts and haven't been able to order anything beyond the biscuits and gravy yet. (I retort, I once ordered a cinamon roll "appetizer" in addition to the biscuits and gravy...because that's necessary). Everything is tasty and the service is great. The interior is a little bizarre. I couldn't say exactly why, however I'd be disposed to say it has something to do with the Wizard of Oz Collectible Plate Wall.

Everything is delicious (except for the crepes), everything is so good and fresh you'd swear you were on a farm. Breakfast till they close!

It's the quintessential diner great for breakfast or brunch with friends and family, but the menu selection has more than breakfast items. Serves comfort food in style. Friendly but slow service so be prepared to wait. Get there early (before 8am) on weekends, the line forms very quickly and long after that!
