When we're ready to eat some grease, and are in the area, Alex and I like to hit Johnny Rockets. With the oldies playing over the speaker, and nickel mini juke-boxes at each table that tempt you to pick out your favorite songs, Johnny Rockets is a fun evening meal. So, come ready to eat some burgers and fries. Pretty bad for you, but also pretty tasty.

Johnny Rockets is a yummy little restaurant that makes you feel like a kid again as soon as you walk in the door. The selection on the menu is limited, but all you need- from grilled cheese to chili cheese fries- to amazing shakes- there is something for everybody. The jukebox plays classic songs for a nickel and the wait staff are always friendly- just like everyone used to be.

Nothing fancy here folks, acutally 2 stars because they itemize EVERYTHING! I mean, who orders a burger and expects to pay EXTRA for fries? What kind of joke is that? And when the burger shows up it's the like 3" in diameter?! For the price, I think I could get a better meal at Burger King or Micky D's
I ordered some of their comfort foods though and they were rather tasty...nothing that couldn't be had from QFC's frozen isle and cooked at home though.

Timing is everything when you decide to dash to Johnny's for a quick meal. A split-second timing misstep could cost you several minutes. My friend and I went to Johnny Rocket's and happened to place our order just a little too late: we ended up having to wait for a long, choreographed dance to "Stayin' Alive." There was not a single available waiter or cook., and I suspect the song was looped through at least twice. It was long. The employees did not look happy. So my friend and I ate our meal (deliciously greasy chicken fingers, more dipping sauce than meat) and soon left. I must warn, though -- the menu is overpriced. The chicken strip meal cost $6 and didn't even come with anything.
