Yachtlease is like a "timeshare" for boaters. You pay a monthly fee to purchase a certain number of days on your chosen yacht. The company leases yachts from 32 to 70+ feet. The best part about Yachtlease is that you don't take on any of the maintenance, hassle or risk associated with boat ownership. You pay your fees, you show up on your reserved days, you drive off in your boat, you return and unpack your stuff, and that's the end of it. This program does away with all the negative aspects of boating and leaves you with the pure enjoyment of blissful days out on the water.

At this posting, I'm waiting on a couple of wheels to be rebuilt by Wright Bros. I could have gone to Performance Bicycle in the U District, but there is no equal in Seattle to Wright Bros. (that I'm aware of).
It is the rare occasion to converse with the actual owner (Charles) of an establishment, and that's what you'll find there. That, plus the combined experience of quality work, the overcrowded shop piled with bikes and parts, the hearty smell of grease, and the sense that I'm leaving my trusted bike in good hands that keeps me coming back. On this last visit, before they quoted me a price for rebuilding my wheels, they offered up the class to learn it myself. I'd have done it if I had more time.
I've been a member for five years and have taken their repair classes before - that in itself builds a sense of loyalty and community among the members.
NOTE: Wright Bros. does not do much in the way of sales of complete bikes, mostly just parts and accessories.

Wright Brothers is both a full service bike repair shop and a co-op where you can bring your bike and use the tools and space. Classes are offered in general bike maintenance, wheel building, and bearings. The owner, Charles, is as likely to talk with you about philosophy or bike repair. Small fee for co-op membership and classes. The space is great and quick questions are answered for little or no fee.

I went here with my friend the other day and it was quite the experience. There a lot of historical asian art pieces inside and they also have a generous amount of art from different cultures. The location is pretty easy to find as it is located in the greater part of Seattle. If you like art or have yet to visit an art museum, this is the place to go.

This mall has alot of good stores and a big area to navigate. However there are a lot of loitering kids that are rowdy and make a lot noise, causing shoppers to be uncomfortable. I do not like shopping here because the security is questionable and the amount of violence that breaks out makes it unworthy of going to.

Every Sunday May-November West Seattle holds its farmer's market between 10:00am and 2:00pm. I love going there to purchase fresh fruits and vegtables. They have peaches, variety apples, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, nectarines, asparagus, corn, cheeses, tomatoes, herbs, potatoes, and lots of organic produce. They also have bouquets of beautiful fresh flowers. Its great place to get fresh and natural grown produce once a week.

I always I have a great time bowling at West Seattle Bowl. They have recently remodeled the whole facility and it's very nice. Everything is set up to be family friendly which is important to me since I'm usually toting around at least 2 children. The bumpers on the lanes can be lowered or raised depending on who is bowling which is a plus. That way mom and kids can bowl at the same time with a minimum of hassle.

This West Marine store is certainly one of the smaller ones in the chain. They try to carry a large selection of items but in the end I think this hurts the store. For example I probably won't buy high end foul-weather gear when there are only a few types to try on and choose from in the store. They do carry a good selection of basic needs for your boat though. If you need a new fitting or line before heading out for the day, then this is a good place to check out. For higher end purchases I would look elsewhere.
