Throughout the entire process of preparing the house for sale, as well as the showing of it, we were impressed with his enthusiasm and seemingly limitless energy. He kept us informed every step of the way, offered suggestions at the right times, and was uniformly upbeat. His guidance clearly worked as he presented us with several competitive offers after only a week and a half of showing. We have since recommended him to many friends and associates, and will continue to do so. John started the process with education: not just a complete analysis of comps but also a well constructed packet of information about the whole process - terms, definitions, expectations, market trends etc. After making the decision to sell, then changing my mind, then deciding again to sell (a two week period of time during which John showed remarkable patience and understanding) he put together a complete marketing package; utilizing unique, cost effective methods to get the word out. Long story short: Only one weekend. Right Price, Right Time, Right Buyer. Thanks to the Right Realtor. I didn't choose to go with John solely because of his flexible commission schedule, but it sure made the decision seem like a smart one when I was closing escrow. My wife and I thought we could outsmart the market and not get a buyer's agent. When we realized our folly and contacted John's office, he responded immediately. Although we ended up not getting the first townhouse we put an offer on, through John's help and his associates, we managed to get an offer turned around 24 hours from the moment we first discovered the house, days before it was scheduled for an open house. The offer was accepted and we have now own a beautiful townhouse in Ballard. What's more, the townhouse was a better fit than what we had found with our failed attempt.
